Hi.

Want some suggestions about idea to make money on a site, other than "ads" and "affiliate.

Please keep in mind, it should be "passive" because if it can be "active", there are plenty of them from selling service like SaaS tools or promoting your own services.

    Passive income are either ranking YouTube videos or websites.
    Once you're ranking the visitors come on their own. Just sell them affiliate products.

    Depending on how you define the term, and using the definition that most people here, erroneously cling to, there is no such thing as passive income, regardless of the examples that many will put forth. If you dig deep, you will discover that there was much work involved in developing what they consider to be a passive income stream and if not maintained, over time it will dry up.

    Also, unicorns are NOT real.

    Selling e-books that are automatically downloaded to customers when they purchase them is the only example I can think of off the top of my head that is neither "ads" nor "affiliate".

    Of course, writing those eBooks and marketing them take up time, but that's about as passive as it gets when you take affiliate and AdSense out of the picture.

    Hi Kevin,

    As far as passive income, the only grab an ad/product and profit are the 2 you noted. Ads, affiliate marketing.

    OK...if you want to actively create something "once" and then profit passively based on that single creation:

    - write and sell eBooks
    - convert those eBooks to audio books
    - convert those eBooks to paperbacks
    - create and sell courses

    A few ideas. But you need to create helpful content and build strong bonds to prosper through these channels. So lots of active work

    Promoting your own product is a good way to make money. Make something useful and ideally something that sells for over $30.


    I sell my software tools at $49.95 so it makes quite a difference to my lifestyle when I sell a few of those a month.

    Start socializing in forums, not just this one. When you network, you will get people talking and you can work in what you are doing. YouTube is always an option.

    Other than Ads and Affiliate marketing on your blog, you can follow a couple of other methods.

    1. Sell courses or ebooks on the niche.
    2. Create YouTube videos and monetize those.
