Perfect niche for novelist?

Hello,

I've recently decided that I want to start a career as a copywriter. Now i am contemplating which niche would suit my voice best. I have about 2 years of experience as a content writer. Also last year my first novel was published. It was a kind of crazy, fictional and humoristic book. I am thinking that the companies I want to write ads for should be young, kind of crazy, open to humor and sell products that are not too fancy. But does anyone know what kind of niche fits that description? I can't just write: I work for crazy, young and funny companies...

Or can I?

Ideally they should also be able to appreciate that I've published something. I am guessing a company selling insurances wouldn't really care about something like that.

I'd really appreciate any response. Thank you!

P.S.: I write in German not in English. There's just no respective forum in Germany. So if you were about to comment "but your writing's s**t", please don't

I don't think there is a niche for a "novelist."

However, there are many niches for people who can appeal to a crazy, young, fun audience.

The question is: What do young, crazy people buy? What your audience buys is your niche.

Clothes, cars, d├ęcor, makeup, electronics, video games?

My son is 29 and he's furnishing a home for the first time. My daughter is 26 and has two toddlers so she buys diapers, kid's clothes, and toys.

Find your young audience, see what they buy and choose a niche from those options.
