I decided I want to help some of you out there that may be struggling with starting a business or scaling a business. Maybe you do not know where to start or how to scale and here are a few tips that will definitely help you out.

Now, what is one thing all businesses have in common? They all need customers, they need customers to make money of course.

The first way to get customers and a free way I might add is social media. It is great for engaging with people that are interested in your niche. By posting frequently on social media and engaging with people you will for sure grow. However, this will take some time so have some patience.

If you want to go start with social media and have some money to spare, try Instagram influencers. These influencers post other peoples content and have a ton of engaging followers so it is perfect. Just make sure the page is related to your niche. For instance, if you own a restaurant find a page that takes pictures of food. Influencer shoutouts typically cost $20 for 24 hours.

Next and probably the most important is email marketing. You can create a simple $5 ad on Facebook and collect peoples emails and build a list. If you build a list of let's say at least 100 people which is not hard at all, those are then 100 potential customers that you can turn into buyers. Email marketing is, in my opinion, the #1 most important thing in a business. It is the meat and potatoes.

Lastly is create a business alliance. Basically its a group of businesses that help each other out, so if you are a landscaper, for instance, you may want to network with a real estate agent. That way if the real estate agent gets a new homeowner they will recommend you as their landscaper and you will get business. In return, you will recommend your real estate agent whenever you find potential clients for them, see what I mean?

Asking for permission to share an offer, is actually something i've seen quite a lot, so pretty common. Personally i don't like asking for permission to share the offer unless you know them very very well, (and even then...)

Sure! You want to engage with your fans (become friends with them) while you are growing they are more likely to share your page and be more engaging in return. Engage with other pages in your industry as well, liking commenting and following them. Also, engage with posts that are related to your industry that are getting a ton of traffic. Just get yourself out there, the more people that see your page hence in likes, comments etc, the more likely they will check you out. You can also look into DM groups to get quick growth. You can find them on an app called Telegram if you would like me to explain them just let me know ! Hope this helped!

100% agree, building a list is basic of every business...

Heres all you need to do to make money in this business.

1.) Pick/generate a hot converting offer

2.) Stick with that offer until you make it successful.

3.) Drive traffic (blog, videomarketing, paid traffic....) to a squeeze page and build your list.

4.) Build relationship with that list, market to it, share helpful tips and focus on 80% value 20% promotions.

5.) Take profits, reinvest, scale up

Thats it!!

Make it simple and don't complicate too much...

You can master process or outsource anything (copywriting, webinars, technical stuff) you hate doing along the way.

To add to this:
1) Be active on Forums in your niche. Build rapport. The more people will see you, the more they will likely listen to you.
2) Answer questions as an expert of a niche on Quora
3) Engage in conversations on Reddit. Make valuable posts from time to time. Reddit is massive in terms of traffic.

  ads are tricky, you really need to know your audience and how to define it for adverts AND to do market research so that you know what their top-of-mind problem is that you solve AND that they are prepared to pay for it and of course your lead magnet must be a precursor to the product/program/service you wish to sell and something they want.

  I don't really know what UDIMI or I may just not remember haha but do market research. Test ads that work and stop ads that don't. You can usually tell if it is not working within 2 days. Look at your competition as well and use what is working as Picasso said "good artists copy Great artists steal" so look at what is working and apply it to your ads and make it better. Lastly, one secret trick for you on facebook you can go on to a businesses page related to your business (competitors) and on the left side at the bottom of the menu it should say "Ads" click that and if they are running ads you can see their exact ad! If it has tons of engagement and views that means they are paying a ton of money on it and they wouldn't be paying money if it wasn't converting. Hope this helps!

  Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) is a great way to get quality traffic to sites and blogs. But remember it is not the only way.

Social Networks:This is one of the best and free ways to promote your app or business by posting about your new business to your friends and family on social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google Plus, LinkedIn etc. On this, social website there is a lot of groups, app installs and promotion groups which you can join and share your apps or business there for free. There are four ways to get customers/traffic fast:

1. Paying (PPC, Display ads, Influencer ads, Email marketing)
2. Communities & answers & dms & guestposts & chats
3. Phonecalls
4. JV with influencers (affiliate program & shop required) or some type of alliance as the one you describe but I don't know what kind of beginner starts his business career with a landscraper.

Which portal is better depends where most of your audience is located but I suggest to focus on very few or even one portal before mixing others. Also, I suggest NOT to mess with some forms of paid advertising unless you are an expert, it's better if you outsource it to a specialist. Building a list through engaging paid ads & opt-ins is probably fine, cold sale on the other hand isn't.

There are other ways too to do effective email marketing if you don't have a site like paying a proffesional who has the business contacts you need or buying email lists yourself from a trusted seller or scrapping them(if you are a hacker). There are also sites like d7leadfinder.

A really appreciate the effort to share this information, but I feel it's way more complicated. I'm right now trying to outreach my online business with almost no investment (because is a case study, not because I couldn't do it), and it's pretty dam complicated.
Networking is to me the possibly best situation, but I don't really find the place to do it online (and I live in Spain and my business is for English speaking people!! :-( )

Don't you think that this post makes things appear easier than they really are... or is just me?

  It is not that it is in a sense difficult to do. It will take time and money but if you stick to it, it is not hard at all. People just overthink it and make it more difficult than it really is. So I will clarify it is not hard it is time-consuming and you got to be willing to go all in learning and applying as much as you can if that makes sense.

I need to put an advertisement on IG using IG influencers. I have the ad made. I found an influencer and have agreed upon a price. Do I DM them the picture and what to write for the subheading? As anyone tried fiverr for a million emails, that's a lot of emails but I think its just spam however what is the difference with Udimi other than the amount, is that also spam? I do realise they are more selective in people and places. Interesting!

Those emails are probably either not confirmed optins, they might be from different countries, from different niches...and only god know how they were obtained in the first place.

You can try...but i wouldn't expect anything. I haven't searched up the gig, but the reviews are probably fake too. It's the only way people get noticed on fiverr nowadays...

I read a lot of good advice here. I wanted to add that use cold outreach. I saw there were answers against working with cold leads. I think you can't ignore this way of getting your first customers. Of course, it's a long way of heating lead to the purchase. This way more preferable for pr purposes and bloggers outreach for reviewing your tool. Email marketing can't be ignored. I always for trying to connect with new people that can test my product and give fair feedback, searching emails with finders and making email campaigns with Snovio, Reply or other tools. If I fail to connect in Facebook, Linkedin or Twitter I go on finding their email with any mail finders and so on.

Send an email to your friends, family, and professional connections and ask them to help spread the news.
Sending an email to your existing networks is a great way to leverage your existing relationships to get the word out. Remember that 92% of people trust referrals from friends, so the referrals can really help you drive some new traffic and/or customers.

It's easy, just send two batch emails: 1) for your family and friends and 2) to business connections. (Tip: use BCC in your emails so you don't share your entire email list with everyone). Don't forget to put a note in the email explaining what you're hoping to achieve with your website. Ex. I've just launched my new site to help me grow my collaborative law practice or I've just hired a new crew and we're looking to take our business to the next level.

I think you'll be surprised at how supportive your existing network will be in helping you get the word out, and at the very least you'll receive a nice spike in website traffic.

Great contributions to learn from is more important that the OP got banned for whatever reason.

These threads hold alot of great free info people are paying for but sometimes it is up to us to find the missing pieces on our own to turn into weapons in are marketing arsenal.

I recently realized before you send out any Message or email read and re read your message because the way you intend it may not be the way it is perceived. That is critical.

Hi Jesse, thank you for your info and tips.

The best type of traffic - from my view and upbringing in my country Singapore - is social traffic be it on-or-offline.

As in a group of people who KNOW, LIKE and TRUST you.

Especially when you are promoting info products.

But when it comes to physical products say Amazon, AliExpress or Shopify, you need to invest in paid advertising and reliable email marketing platforms.

However 2 free methods I do recommend - if you are on tight budget is Carousell and Gumtree ads I have been using for a long time now.

From my point, the best way to attract customers traffic to a website is to create great content. You must create a content strategy and use different variations: texts, videos, images, infographics. Also, start learning link building, because it's a great way to increase website traffic.

I am not exactly a beginner however, I always make new website, experiment with it to see how it goes.

Let me give you my strategy.

1, Research keywords using Ubersuggest(I am not promoting Neil Patel or anything.I just like this tool)
2,Find out the least competitive keyword with at least 800 hits per month.
3, Now you're gonna get a couple of these keywords
4,Type those in the google trends tool and see the trend and select the appropriate keyword.This trick is simple but most people don't do it.
5,Write content using that particular keyword.
6,Your content should be better than the competitor(Again the tool I mentioned before will help you see the SERP), which simply means lengthier, should provide more clarity and actionable steps with amazing pictures and videos.
7,Do the on page SEO (Now please do not just repeat that keyword everywhere.Just use three.One in the heading if you can and also title and sprinkle in the article).Also use three tags in your wordpress and one category.Yoast SEO plugin will help you to make sure that other things are alright.
8,Promote it in all the social media forums.When you do this, you shouldn't come off as spam so my strategy is to post a top 1 article in that particular social media before I share my article.

Absolutely Right!! Sharing Post regarding products and services on Social Sites is a Good Idea but make sure it should not be promotional, should be User-Friendly. As Google does not support the promotional contents. The Marketing in Social Media is an art to state your Products or services to tons of users and Niche customers.

I have had some great success with FB groups in my niche and locating targeted people...
I figure out my target market/people and go after groups that they are in and build my own group and page. You take them from being cold leads to warm leads once you do this.

I also follow these steps, generally Instagram influencers not work pretty well, we will not get quality traffic or leads by that, their are chances we might increase bounce back rate.

Instead of that, there are more platforms so that you can get more traffic easily do the digital marketing.

For that you can get help from Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, Twitter campaign, email marketing as you mentioned.

And all the other stuff you explained pretty well.
