Is January 26th a good time to launch a product?

I am thinking of launching a wso in January. 26th to be precise. Do you think this is a good time? Considering the fact that its holiday season and most people would have spent most of their income for christmas and new year celebration. Thoughts?

Where is Jan 26 a holiday? Where I live it's a month after the holidays.

most people would have spent most of their income for christmas and new year celebration.

It's risky to guess at what 'most people' will do. Some people spend most of their available funds for holidays - and many people do not overspend.

    That said - I would not launch a product on Jan 26, 2019 ....because it's a Saturday and I would launch mid-week.

    • Thank you so much for the response. Why would mid-week be better than a Saturday? I'm curious and would like to learn more.

    Hi Tanyi,

Great to see you here buddy

You know my answer: any time is a good time to launch. We live in abundance. The Universe cares not of dates and holidays, and since the Universe acts through people, launch whenever you wish.

Logic kills the flow of Abundance. Doing stuff that makes no sense taps but feels amazing taps you into Abundance and helps you change the world.....story of my life and the main reason I am sitting in Oman for 2 months now

You got nothing to lose. Ots not like you will lose if you lunch it that day.

Why do you think 26th January would be a good start for you? May I know the reason for opening your products?

It depends what product it is ,if is seasonal i think its a big risk as january its a hard period but if its an evergreen product then dont matter as later on you will make sales ,you will have a hard period in begining but after that it will come to normal

Depends on what your target market is. For me, the market would be those with an online business - I would launch on a weekday because that market would be working then.

If I were targeting part timers or hobbyists or curiosity seekers - I would launch on a weekend when people who work jobs during the week might be 'browsing'.

Much the same as worrying about 'holiday money' - but there are studies online of traffic patterns that can help you decide.

If launching products is your business - I'd highly recommend the gold standard in info...."Launch" by Jeff Walker. Available on Amazon - and i've found it in local libraries as well.

Why wait? I personally don't think there is a magic time.. I would launch ASAP and if there are certain dates in your mind, do promotions on these dates.

I don't imagine the day or date that you launch will have much of an effect at all. Some of it depends on the product, the type of people who buy it and how you are going to launch/market it, though.

Not everybody overspends during the holidays, so that shouldn't be a factor. Also, some "early bird" types may already be getting their income tax refunds by then.

Many of our websites, incidentally, do as well or better in January than they do in December.

My sales are usually quite terrible throughout the whole of December, and most of January. I assume it's because most people spend all their money on Christmas stuff, and take at least a month to recover afterwards.

Whether your launch will succeed or not at the end of Jan, really depends on your market.

You definitely could launch on that day. Tuesday and Thursday is supposed to be better but because marketers know that, big launches get scheduled for those days. Too much competition for a beginner. Also, the misconception that people are busy and don't have money is completely false. During the holidays people have time to relax and think. They could see your ad while they are doing that. Plus they do have the money.

If it has to do with making money/starting a business then launch it on January 1st.

Many people resolve to "start" after the new year.

I have campaigns ready to go.

For the "opportunity seeker" market, January - March rock!
