What else do I need to learn to become more marketable as a Marketer?

Hello Everyone,
I have a slight problem - I cannot find a job in my field. I know that this is partly to due with my location and it's lack of professional marketing jobs available. However, I have also discerned that it is because I am lacking certain marketable traits that are not garnering me that second interview. I am asking all of you, now that I have graduated college, what do I need to teach myself in order to become more marketable to potential employers.

Background: I graduated with my B.A. in Marketing (with a digital emphasis) in December of 2018. Prior to that, I had also received an A.A.S. In Marketing Management from a Technical college. Throughout those 4 years in college I was able to obtain 3 jobs doing social media/digital marketing. I have done Facebook/Instagram Ad Campaigns, created print advertising for magazines, designed/implemented email marketing campaigns, and fooled around slightly with some front end website projects.

I know that being Google/Bing Adword certified would help immensely with my goal to become a PPC/SEM marketer, but I have no real world experience and do not know how to gain that experience without working for a company. Are there any tools or simulation software that could help me to better understand these practices? I also understand that learning coding would help me to get a job in the Digital Marketing field, but I do not know where to start or which coding language would be best to learn for those purposes. Please let me know if any of you have any advice for me. It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
