HEY EVERYONE!

I just wanted to say Hi and start to interact with everyone so I can contribute.

I joined here because I want to learn, grow, and share my knowledge as well in creating your side hustle especially when you are about to start mainly online.

More than that, being with like-minded peeps is much cooler and one of the best ways to achieve our success much faster.

I'd love to get to know some of you and look forward to hearing from anyone else that is new here or is a seasoned member.

BTW, can I ask?

When it comes to building your side hustle, what's the single biggest challenge that you've been struggling with? (The more details, the better I can contribute.).

Looking forward to meeting everyone !

  • Hi Thomas,

    Welcome to the forum.

Usually you will find it best to contribute first and then the hustlers will provide details and generate discussion as you demonstrate your experiences and gradually gain trust from members.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

  • Welcome, Thomas!

The biggest challenge is avoiding shiny object syndrome. Just stick to one thing and become great at it!

    • Hey msulcs ,

      Thanks for sharing. Appreciate it!

Oh boy! That shinny object crapp! I was there during my first year of hustling. I almost bought every course out there. LOL!

But ended up nothing. Later I realized that being shinny object fanatic won't make you successful.

      Why?

Because you are thinking shortcuts. Get-rich-quick scheme. Instant success like noodles in 7/11.

There's no such thing as an overnight success on what we do. If there is, they're very handful.

That's why I learned to buy one course and master it at a time. Mastery it is!
I put my horse blinders when learning a new course and tend not to subscribe to any list.

As Bruce Lee says : "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times. ..."

  • Hello and welcome to WF.

When you mention you want to grow and learn, what area of online marketing are you interested in?

    • Hey ChrisBa ,

      Good question!

More on the research part. Which I think the hardest, in my opinion.

Knowing more your dream customers so you can serve them best.

I want to know where they at, how things going, they're problems, struggles. Stuff like that.

I don't want to be another Mr encyclopedia who comes door to door to offer something that won't transform people lives.
  • The single and biggest challenge for newbie is usually how to find the right offer and get the right traffic. This is not easy because there are many factors that can affect the outcome.

    • Hey InternetMarketingMadeEZ !

      Appreciate your sharing.

May I know what side hustle are you in?

      That's also my struggle.

With the right offer, I would suggest you do a research (which is the most boring part ) on amazon like on ebooks and get the reviews of the customers on my same niche. There you can see what's missing on the ebook that you can offer on your product if you're about to create one.

Another thing is to be a part of an engaging Facebook group or forum like this one on your same niche. There you can see their pains and problems where you can compile them and create a solution for it. Best, if you can talk one of group members who you can interview to see a deeper insights.

When it come to traffic, before I used to use Facebook ads and bring traffic into my landing page and bring quality leads. I know it's effective though I still need to master it.

Nothing comes easy when you have dreams. BIG DREAMS!

I almost give up every single day when I'm starting. But my BIGGEST "WHY" keeps me driving and burning throughout this diabolotic roller coaster we're at!

  • The biggest challenge for newbies is too much buying with less selling. I suggest if must get 2 sales then can buy 1. This way the business still profitable than just losing too much if keep buying stuff.

    • Thanks sirtiman for sharing! Well, that one points back to shiny object disease.

More on trust on the process and believe in yourself that you can do shit stuff with all the resources you have at the moment. Nothing beats mastery.
  • I am a newbie and just got my account activated! Hey Thomas, I also look for everyone's support here. My intention is just to enhance my skills like social media marketer and establish myself

  • While that is a challenge for many, the biggest issue is traffic, or more accurately, the lack of traffic.

    • Hi IGotMine!

      Thanks for reaching out!

So far, what effective practices do you do now to get your traffic?
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Welcome to the forum.

The biggest challenge for me was sticking to one money stream. There are so many different ways to make money online that they all seem like a good idea.

However, if you start too many then you start slowing yourself down because your efforts are now divided up into many different businesses.

I would suggest doing some research on how to make money online and figure out which one you would enjoy the most. Put all your effort into that one and once you succeed with that, then move onto a second income stream.

    • Hey Discover Ecommerce!

Thanks for sharing. You truly hit that!

It's always best to choose one money stream and move forward.

Shiny object crapps will always hit you upon starting your online journey.

But never be mesmerized by them. Because if you do, you're just telling yourself that you can't make things possible, you're not good enough, you always look for shortcuts and at the end, you produced no results. Because you are everywhere!

That's why your trusted mentors are the best accountability partners. We all should have one on this online journey. No one can do this alone without the help of others.
