It would be normal if the traffic wasn't targeted. You posted last year that your Facebook group was about "fun and memes". If that's the source of your traffic it's not surprising that it doesn't convert. If you want a more detailed answer, you'll have to provide more info.

The other point to mention is that high gravity is no measure of a product's conversion rate - so you might need to look at other ways of selecting a suitable offer.

  • You should promote your link to targeted "buyer" traffic sources other than just Facebook groups.

Have you tried, forum posting, niched blog commenting, paid advertising, article marketing and producing & uploading product review videos on YouTube?

One targeted source of buyer traffic can generate a sustainable amount of monthly sales. if you are marketing the right product to the right traffic source, you will always generate sales online.

Seems to me you're direct linking Clickbank offers on Facebook.

Clickbank offers work on a CPS basis, which people are more resistant to as they have to whip out their credit card and buy something, so I'd recommend building a list by giving away a free gift and building a list while promoting the offer.

That way you pre-sell them on the offer while building a valuable asset for yourself since you're already spending the time to get traffic from these Facebook groups.

  • It depends on the quality of your FB group, e.g. how many of the members are from tier 1 countries and how many of them are buyers and not freebie seekers.

Normal. You need to warm them up first. If people were posting affiliate links in groups I were a member of, I'd think it was spam.

Promoting affiliate link through fb groups is a waste of time.

How are you doing your marketing? Are you direct linking? Do you have an email newsletter? Do you have a blog? A forum? Do you provide credibility through your content? Is your facebook group active? Are they very familiar with you? Why should someone trust your opinion about another person's product?

Don't expect to post your offer on FB groups and get sales. This isn't how things work at all!

As many suggested above, It'll be better if you actually can build some trust first before blasting your aff links.

Is it normal? It can be.

We would need more info to give clear advice.

Facebook groups can be hit and miss. How close is the demographics of them compared to your offer? How are you advertising your links? Etc?
