Is it possible to make money with DIRECT fb ads marketing? (no email lists)

Does anybody here had success with selling Clickbank or any other similar products through Facebook ads, without email lists and 'free guide' that tempt the person buying the full-paid course in the future?

Just a great ad copywriting that leads to the product!

Yes, this is still very popular. The trick is finding the right product and demographics.

Everything is possible but it depends on your planning, Facebook campaign structure and how you select your audience.

Err, do you guys actually run FB campaigns?! Direct linking on Facebook will get you the ban hammer really fast. It isn't 2012 anymore. Even then, direct linking, in general, has poor ROAS. The only way direct linking works (besides the use of expensive claokers) is when you're hijacking people that are already towards the bottom of the funnel/buyer journey; they're close to converting but not quite there. So your targeting would have to be extremely tight and at the bottom of the funnel/journey. Let's be real - your ROAS would likely be negative...or on a razor thin margin if you're skilled.

i'm using bitly to change the url's of course...
But the main question is, if direct ads doesn't sell - how does e-commerce,local businesses and services are advertising themselves?
they can't make more money than they are spending on FB ads?

let's say I'm affiliating a Scuba-Dive service in a caribbean island for tourists (for example).
I don't see how am I going to build a funnel for that... the only option I have is to catch them with good targeting and great copywrite... So it will never be profitable to me?

I think they're talking about using affiliate links as the main link of a Facebook ad.
          >> Not a direct ad that's posted by a merchant (product manufacturer, store owner or service provider) ...

So yes. Those direct ads are allowed in Facebook.
          >> But as for using affiliate links in Facebook ads:

Facebook's advertising policies don't have a clear guideline that prohibits this.
          >> Though a search here in this forum or in Google will lead you to lots of people saying their ads got rejected or their accounts banned when they used an affiliate link as the main link of their Facebook ads ...

          >> This is the closest I could find in Facebook's advertising policies that might be related:
          QUOTE:
          9. Branded Content
Ads promoting branded content must tag the featured third party product, brand or business partner using the branded content tool.
Branded content within ads is defined as a creator or publisher's content that features or is influenced by a business partner for an exchange of value.
When promoting branded content integrations, advertisers must use the branded content tool ...

Well, what I'd do is to set up a Facebook page that aims to help tourists interested and are currently looking for enjoyable activities in that particular Caribbean island.
I'd also create a Facebook group that's dedicated to meaningful discussions about those relevant activities ...

My intuition in doing these are as follows:

          • To build, grow and nurture an active community that's interested in things that are relevant to my content, current and future offers;

          • To make it more convenient for my ideal prospects by not fforcing them to leave since they're already there and are likely spending a lot of time each day in Facebook;

          • To reach them again with new posts, offers and ads later on; and

          • To direct them to my own digital properties and opt-in mailing list offers ...

Then for both, I'd create posts, each with a captivating headline and image, an enticing copy and a compelling call to action that asks my ideal prospects to join the group and like my page ...

I'll also share enticing excerpts from my most recent (and most relevant) blog posts across that Facebook group and page ...

Next, I'll create a sticky-to-top post for the page and the group that aims to compel my ideal prospects to take a closer look at my affiliate offer ...

I'd then create test boost campaigns for the posts that aim to compel my ideal prospects to join my group and like my page.

Afterwards, I'll look at my results, optimize things that are working well and fix or drop those that aren't.

The usual way for the business owner who is slightly savvy is to do retargeting of website visitors and use a conversion type campaign.

You might send a lot of traffic to an offer but the person selling the offer is taking that list and getting a return because the affiliate has funded the traffic and then they pop them into a custom audience and get their returns from there.

          Best regards,

Yes of course Facebook ads are a great way of getting benefit and helps to create brand awareness!
Like for example we started running campaign in facebook for our client who wanted students to get enrolled in their java and php course, the ad impressions reached 2000 and conversions 100 and that too with minimal cost of investment generating good profit sales thereafter.
So All you need is better planning and execution.

They sure do and cloaking doesn't work either especially with Clickbank and Amazon links. Your best bet is to send people to landers.
