Hello there,

I am new to affiliate marketing and decided to learn maximum before investing so i can make less and quick mistake/learning process before going deeply and spend money.

I studied most business models and each one has its weakness, i came then to conclusion that cpa affilate has less risk losing money.
Best way to lead traffic to offers is without contest email marketing campaigns. I also came to conclusion that best way to succeed is first to built your own smtp and use one of the application to manage email campaigns like Mailwizz, Mumara and so on.

Also having all required signatures DKIM SPF rDns and a slow smtp warmup will lead to a good IP/IPs reputation and score to be able to send 100k email/day wich is so far more cheaper than paid solutions, with total control over your campaign aspects and also to protect your lists from getting stolen.

My first question in this topic is about landing page to disguise affiliate link and avoid getting blacklisted or getting my emails right to spam box, do you think we still need a landing page when we already have cleaned and verified email list?
Thank you in advance for any hepl/advices.

You seem to have learn a good idea of what to do and is best and not to do to start your own self-hosted marketing campaigns and tools.

Now, MY QUESTION is what exactly are you referring to in this last part?

It seems to me you are mixing a few things here or you have the intention to use some doubtful marketing methods which are either esoteric and not known or never discussed here as a blackhat method...

So, why would you want to "disguise" an affiliate link on a "landing page" (landing page is not where we normally put aff links) to start with?

Normally, in almost any situation, with a good marketing method and well crafted funnel a LANDING PAGE *IS* NECESSARY of course...

My father always use to told me; when you want to hide something it is because there's something wrong... Ah, and cleaning means something was previously "not" clean...

Anyway, certainly one can be successful with the right / white methods...

    Cheers!

Setting up your own SMTP server is not the easiest way to manage email campaigns.

You are better off using an ESP to start with and once you have opens/clickers, you could start moving them to a self-hosted solution.

You are answering only the question in the subject of the OP, should you read the entire post so you can post useful comments, instead of just a line which is NOT really useful, let alone adding more to what has already been said immensely more useful than that duh sentence.

Obviously, you are posting only to show your sig file (here is not the only place we see your posts all in the like) and that does certainly not help you build your expectation at all. It is not how "forum marketing" works, whoever taught you that it's far from being how it works.

      Cheers!

    Hey man,

    Don't do shady stuff.

And just to be clear, if you choose a business based on less risk of losing money, u might not lose money, and u most likely wont make much while losing ur mind.

    Any business is painful.

Building muscle is painful, not matter what training program you do.

And yes, landing pages, if u want those people to do something u want them to do, it's necessary

A landing page is a web page whose sole purpose is to drive to your sales funnel. It is motively designed and optimized to convert interested visitors into consumers/ customers/ buyers. One of the best way to drive traffic to your landing page is via email.
I came across people sayings that email marketing and landing page makes the best combination.

Yes definitely use a capture page. I'm not sure who started calling capture pages landing pages but they need smacked, lol. Capture Page/Opt-in Page/Squeeze page are all the same thing but a Landing Page is the page the subscriber "LANDS" on after opting in. This is the best place to present your offer with a button below to click on for the subscriber to then go to your affiliate link.

A lot of people go straight from the capture page to the affiliate link, which can sometimes be ok but I like to have at least 1 page in between to explain and present my offer.

If I am doing double opt-in then after the optin it will simply be a thank you page and when they click confirmation link in their email then I will redirect to the present offer explain page with a button for the affiliate link.

In follow-up emails I will redirect people back to that page or another page that presents the offer.

it's also good to just HELP and educate people in follow-up emails as well. Demonstrate the benefits of your product/service, give advice, tips, etc. to build good will with your list.

Maybe your smarter than me, lol.

I tried to self-host my email marketing before and ended up having deliverability issues after a few months (not even getting into the spam folder). I use a 3rd party autoresponder so they can manage the database, send my emails from their servers and they even hunt down isp's to get them to whitelist your emails. I don't use the big name autoresponder services though (i have in the past) but a lot of them delivered my emails to the spam folder more often than the inbox. Also a lot of them are not "affiliate friendly" (some of them even have affiliate programs and they will shut you down if you promote THEIR service to your email list.

Big Name Autoresponder Company: "Hey thanks for the 90 new customers, we are shutting you down now because you recommended our service to your list"

I also never liked how a lot of them charge you monthly based on the number of subscribers you have. They simply charge people more as they grow because they can afford it.

Fortunately, the service I use is cheaper, established, allows Unlimited subscribers and thus far, I have had 0 emails deliver to the spam folder and the owner is an affiliate marketer too so it's affiliate friendly.

According to me Yes, of course, the landing page is necessary for every business owner it doesn't matter you are a startup. Because the Landing page makes the trust of your client on your business. It will also help you to market your business in the most suitable way

    Hi Setouf

If you're referring to making your affiliate links look prettier, look at ThirstyAffiliates plugin for WordPress. Thousands of marketers use it to make their affiliate link appear like it's coming from their site like yoursite.com/recommends/cpa offer.

Generally I still use landing pages on a blog that reviews affiliate offers. But I never send my list to that page unless it's a bonus type page where I ethically bribe that with extra value if they buy the product through my link.

If you think about it, most good affiliate products/offers already have high converting landing pages. So your main job is to help them learn about the product and how it can help them. This can be done in an email without needing a landing page.

Tip: Adding good quality bonuses that's related to the affiliate offer/product you're promoting can increase your conversion a lot. I do it in all my promotions.

    Good-luck with your affiliate efforts!

    Mozie
