Any quality outdoor gear Dropshippers?

Hi I'm new here as well as new at dropshipping. I do own a fully established website and my own brand which has been approved for a registered trademark. The problem right now is my website offers very few products (due to cost) and also that my brand isn't known yet. So I'd like to add some related products from other companies to help build traffic and at the same time market my brand. Can anyone recommend any dropshippjng companies who sell quality outdoor gear? I'm looking for camping, hiking and snowboarding products.
Thank you

Your best bet is NOT to look for dropshipping companies, per se. You want to contact the actual brands that you want to carry and see if they will dropship for you (more and more will these days). If not, ask them if they can give you the contact info for their big buyers or distributors who very well may dropship.

That's it no more replies? Well thanks Dave for the feed back. I suppose Dropshippers must offer low quality merchandise...

Sometimes. More often than not, you get very bad pricing because of their middleman markup. In fact, you'll often see many places with retail prices lower than the supposed "wholesale price" you got from your "dropshipper" (this is especially true of dropship directories).

You should go directly to the manufacturer and submit an application to be one of their suppliers. That turns YOU into the middleman drop shipper that marks up the product and keeps the difference. It's pretty easy to find suppliers, do a google search on how to research suppliers for drop shipping and you'll find plenty of tips and information on how to do that.

Honestly, people need to be realistic when they ask questions like this one or the "what should I sell" question. Successful eCommerce website owners spent a considerable amount of time and effort finding profitable product niches and cultivating relationships with suppliers.

It's more than a bit naive to think that anyone is, in essence, going to reply to one of these types of queries with "Here is what I sell and who I get it from. Come join the party and slice into a cut of my profits!"

Other than answers from clueless people who have yet to make any real money, the only answers you are going to get are general ones about the types of products you should be looking to sell and how you generally go about getting suppliers.

What kind of margin do you see on drop shipping?

It depends on the product niche. It could be 10%, it could be 500% (mostly jewelry or stuff purchased from China). When considering and comparing possible niche ideas of brand name American products, we assume 20% as a general rule of thumb. It could be higher, it could be lower.

Go to Outdoor Retailer show in Denver or look at the exhibitor list to find smaller companies/brands who may see benefit in working with you.
