Help Understanding "Affiliate Sites"
I have listened to some episodes of the Authority Hacker podcast, and one of the things they often talk about is the distinction between Authority Sites and Affiliate Sites.
Their definition of Authority Sites seems to be sites in which the author(s) are authorities on a niche. They say the sites usually have 50+ pages and are update more frequently than affiliate sites.
They say affiliate sites can have as few as 10 pages and are kind of a "set it and forget it" option and are generally more specific than authority sites.
What they say about authority sites makes sense to me, but what they say about affiliate sites still doesn't really make sense?
Can somebody give me some examples of affiliate sites? I'm kind of perplexed as to what they are...
