Affiliate Marketing Campaign Roadmap HELP

Hey guys,

A newbie here with a very general question.

I've read a lot, saw tons of videos etc.
However, some basic stuff I don't get, and one of them is the order of things.
So let's say I start fresh, no website, no FB pages, no nothing. I enter CJ/CB etc., and I find the product I want to work with. Whats next?

What is the very next thing I should do?
Build a website and start pouring content?
Build a landing page, and worry about the content and everything later
If so, where do I store the landing page, as a page on my "future website".

As I said, I'm kind of lost with the order of things.
Hope you can shade some light

    From a position of "no nothing", I wouldn't be starting with the product. It's far easier to choose a potentially successful product if you first find a potential market.

    So I'd look for a group of potential or existing buyers that I'd be able to reach cost-effectively. Maybe that's a FB group I was a member of, or a forum, or a site in a particular niche I was interested in. Or perhaps a newsletter I subscribed to that had a large subscription base and accepted advertising.

    The point is, I'd find a traffic source first, and tailor the product to that rather than jump in with a product and scratch around looking for buyers.

    A website is very important these days, I wouldn't just direct link anymore.

    An important aspect that you missed if how are you planning on driving traffic to your site? It's not going to come by itself, you need a plan. I would focus on this area more.
