Facebook Ad: Narrowing Target Audience via Interests

I already know who my ideal customer is, and when I set out to create my first Facebook ad, I entered the relevant interests, occupation, gender, age, favorite TV shows, etc. However, no matter how many criteria I entered, the lowest number I could reach was 41 million! Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong here?

      Yes geographic. Narrow down to a specific location (really specific, e.g. Manila or Seoul) then do the rest - age, gender, et al.

        But what if you want to target all of the US? That's what I chose, and then I entered a ton of interests. I also added only 3 job titles & industries, and I chose college and grad school. But still, I got 41 M

          That is still way too broad.

    Your issue could be fact where you said added tons of interest to targeting. You may have something in there way too broad. If still issues after see if that's issue, may want to literally cancel campaign and restart new one and by each interest and targeted info you select you should see drop.
