Need to add marketing to my specialized knowledge.

Hi,
My name is Jason, and I need some help with marketing. I DJ and produce a type of electronic dance music, and from am Orlando Florida. I've spent the last decade developing the specialized knowledge in the music industry I needed to start my career. Studying music theory, music composition, sound engineering, plus the software, and associated plug-ins needed for the production side of things. In 2015 I received a small inheritance from my Grandmothers estate, and bought the necessary equipment. I learned to DJ, and did my own podcast for about a year. I have 8 track signed to a few labels across Europe. The next step is to learn how to market. I've got a website, I'm on the major social media (Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook). Ive sunk a few hundred dollars on ad campaigns that were unsuccessful. I'm not sure what the next step is, and am not sure what I need to be doing to learn how to market myself.

  • need some more info here... You want to market yourself as what? An Artist? A club DJ?

    First for sure you want to be on SoundCloud. People like DeadMau3 and Armin Van Buuren obviously are there for a reason.
