Where to start?

Hi Guys,
Looking for a structured way to get off the ground, or in other words, the best way to go with my idea. I''ll explain. I want to market and obviously earn from my chosen niche, I have vast knowledge of this niche, I have just started a Facebook group regarding this subject but have very little knowledge of FB, basically I'm just feeling my way. I know I can provide huge value to many due to my knowledge but am unsure if this is the way to go? in other words the amount of time to grow a following, don't get me wrong i'm willing to put in lots of effort and see money as a bi-product of value given/shared. Or do I forget FB and just start a Blog site and/or Website?
I'm currently in a Digital marketing program but its really aimed at being an affiliate promoting their training which is good, but I have a lot more knowledge and passion about my chosen niche. i'm just a regular Guy and I don't have much of a budget and am thinking organic of low paid strategies. • How is it good if you can't answer the basic questions you are asking?

If you are in a 'program' then focus on completing that program - and don't buy or join anything else until you have a plan in mind and a direction you want to go.

If you have 'vast knowledge' to provide 'huge value' in a particular niche, do the research and identify your target market. Market to THAT audience.

Money is a by-product AFTER you have put in time and effort productively.

Do all three - plus building a list - perhaps creating your own products, etc. Focus on YOUR niche and look for opportunities in THAT niche.

List building, blogging, social media, ads, free traffic and on and on - info can be found on this forum (free) using the search function. Read enough to know which members are speaking from experience/knowledge and then focus on their advice.

Don't fall into the shiny object MMO 'deals'. If you have your niche chosen - focus on your own business plan instead of selling MMO stuff for someone else.

    • Thank you for this.
  • Hi Kay,
great advice, Thanks for the input.
  • I also did this but I cannot use that more than you have done.
  • If the niche has a little competition you can start a blog, write 500+ word articles focusing on long tail keywords and make a good link building, Google appreciates new, long, original and quality content!

This is the best way to start if you don't have a big budget!
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • You should build a site no matter which course you choose. You need a property you own and control for squeeze pages, bonus pages, info. pages, etc.
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • Interesting question if you feel that passionate about your niche and have SEO skills then with your knowledge of it I wouldn't rely on Facebook or any social media platform.

Buy a domain name and start your own blog and be in control. There is nothing wrong about using social media platforms as well for example creating a FB Fan Page or group as well.
