worried about chargebacks on clickbank

I am planning to launch a new clickbank it involves selling a 50 minute audio product and short book 12 pages for $29.99 I am a bit worried about chargebacks. Clickbank states that they will consider terminating products with a chargeback rate of over 1%.

This seems rather low, I will be telling customers what exactly what they willing be getting for their money so this might help

This can be a huge problem when it comes to marketing products. People are just scum sometimes, will try to get anything for free.

I just started with clickbank as well and this has definietly been on my mind. I don't want to promote a product where people might want to receive a refund. I find that promoting products or services that are very beneficial, and promoting them in the right places, will ensure that many if not most users that visit and purchase from your affiliate link, will not seek a refund. Maybe just make sure you're promoting something that many people are interested in?

What do I know though, Im new to this too.

    Best of luck to you!

    A refund is not a charge-back:

    noun: charge-back
a demand by a credit-card provider for a retailer to make good the loss on a fraudulent or disputed transaction.
Refunds are common. Charge-backs are fairly rare.

1%? Wow that is ridiculous. I wonder if they actually enforce that rule.

Charge backs are directly related to how aggressive your marketing is. Clickbank is very picky about sales letters they approve. I have a couple low key products on Clickbank that convert daily...BUT I do not have ANY high pressure BIZ OPY sales letters....

I've done that in the past and it was a nightmare. If Clickbank approves your sales letter I doubt you will have a ton of charge backs...... Maybe 15-20% refunds, but it should not be that big of a concern.

    Good luck
