Rebranding a report issued prior to company's rebranding?

Should a company rebrand a report that has already been issued if the organization goes through a rebranding process? If so, how is the best way to go about it? This report is often referenced and used as evergreen content, especially on social media, but it's full of branding that is no longer relevant.

I really appreciate it!

Isn't the point of rebranding the report CHANGING the branding that is 'no longer relevant'?

For a report - probably a rewrite would be most efficient way to remove old/oudated references and replace with the new branding and new references.

and don't forget to change the 'last modified time-stamp' on the original site the report was published, so the search engines record and reflect the new date in the SERPs, so that the searcher will see (eyeballs) the new date.

If it's no longer relevant, throw it out the window for a refresh. Matching the brand's style/identity at all times throughout all avenues is critical to its reach.
