Hi,
I'm newbie, Now that I am a beginner in the field of marketing, I hope that everyone will help me and share my marketing skills so that I can improve my skills better, I am very grateful for that.

I am Amol doing Graduation in commerce I just want to know how to learn digital marketing. please suggest best and simple way to learn internet marketing.

  the simple idea is build an email list by getting targeted traffic to your site and converting that traffic into subscribers of your list. My mentor put it to me this way. Imagine your playing soccer (futbol). Find the goal. Take the ball and kick it into the over and over and over. Most people never figure out what their #1 best focused niche is and end up chasing idea after idea and never get great at one idea. They end up taking the soccer ball and running to every field they can find and generally have no idea what they are doing. Just find one field and kick the ball in that goal over and over and over and over and over. Learn how to get highly targeted traffic (ie.. if you're in photography, find a profitable niche like macro photography tips and focus 100% on that. DON'T focus on a wide target. Find a narrow target in a profitable niche that fills a need and become the expert there.)
  Then learn how to write good copy and convert those highly targeted leads into sales.

  Hi Amol, Affiliate marketing is a good way to start. It is where you sell someone elses product for a commission. You don't even need a website.
  You are in the best forum to get information. There are lots of free videos in youtube.The quickest way is to find a mentor to show you the shortcut.

Hi ! Welcome to this forum !

I have been in the field of marketing for the past 20 over years and many things have evolved since then. Hence, keeping yourself updated is important but having a great mentor is absolutely helpful. Why ? A mentor can help to not only help you to cut through all the chases but navigate you to the right direction. Ideally, your mentor should be someone that has walked the same journey as you and able to point to you all the mistakes that he/she has made, which you should not make.

I am still being mentored despite having a Marketing experience of more than 20 years as the methods, trends, platforms are evolving every other day. Reading up on the latest trends and developments is key to become a successful marketeer as well.

Hope I have given you some marketing food for thought :-)
