Starting an online business with $400

You posted a version of this paragraph multiple times - with different $$ figures and sometimes saying it was 'a loan'.


One of the first rules of working online is to KNOW the platforum you are using. You didn't read the simple rules here or would have known threads are moderated before they appear...


Not saying that to be rude- but you wasted time reposting over and over because you didn't do the preparation to use the forum...i.e., read the rules.


If you borrowed money to start online - pay it back now. You will not earn online because you 'need it' or because you have a deadline. Use this forum by reading threads here about getting started - getting traffic, SEO, affiliate sales, etc. There is a lot of info here that will help you - but only if you take the time to learn from it.

I was about to reply to your post until I read Kay's very helpful information posted above.

If you ask me. Your first $1000 should be invested in yourself. Increasing the amount of money you can earn by:

• Learning new skills
  
  
• Attending seminars
  
  
• Mentorships

And more...

Because it's important to have financial confidence before starting a business (the ability to earn money on demand).

So you'll be able to put money into your business.


BUT if you want to start a business right away...

Then the real question is: What business is best for you right now?

Just because it's the best for someone else, doesn't mean it's the best for you.

Think about your background, your passion, and what you like to do.

What are your strengths, what are you good at?

Do you have any connections within a certain industry?

Take all that into consideration.

Always Know Yourself

Ask yourself "Is this the right thing for me?"

If I had $ 400 to start, I would start with affiliate marketing
Create a Wordpress website for $ 12
The email automatically $ 20/1 month
My method:
Find good affiliate offers then create some articles and tutorials around the product. It is better to be able to build a course around it.
Give away lots of free content to get everyone's email.
Take care of your listings, help them earn money with affiliate offers.

...stop looking at the $400. It's a distraction. Sweat equity will get you there if you persist.

Do you have to pay bills now? Then IM is probably not for you right this moment, and a job is a better fit for your situation. There are no saviors or magic bullets.

You can start a business with little investment. What do you love doing? Focus on that and turn it into a business. For example, do you like to write? Translate documents? Are you good at graphic design? There are lots of freelancer sites (eg: upwork, peopleperhour, etc) where you can showcase your skills and get paid for doing things that you love.

For one $400 is a lot of money and a lot if investments to start a business. For another, it's very low amount and better to just buy some info products,ebook and expand his knowledge on certain topics.

Personally I think you should try any business with your money and I am pretty sure you will fail, BUT what you will learn would be priceless. You won't learn such lessons reading some ebook.

Just do not expect to make thousands of dollars with your 400$ investment, overwise you could quit IM after your first fail. You need to learn from mistakes, from failing, it's the only way to success.

Hi, it is possible to do something really small with $400 on an online business but you may not see immediate and quick return within a short time. You may consider some free methods to get started and invest a small amount from your $400 on paid methods.

But allow me to emphasize that online business is a journey and one has to be patient and consistent in order to see results (results that may takes months or even years).

Start off with affiliate marketing by promoting other merchants' products and use free methods to drive traffic like writing a blog and sharing it through Facebook Groups, etc.

There is so much information out there on ways to start an online business it can become very overwhelming. You may end up slipping down a black hole of information that you may never return from, so I say be careful when it comes to learning new ways to start an online business.

With there being so many ways to make money online, I can completely understand why people are unsure of where to start. All of these methods do work, but the secret to succeeding is to pick one and commit to learning it and implementing what you learn - consistently. Whether it's crypto, dropshipping, affiliate marketing, ecommerce or consulting you have to decide which one resonates with you best, based on your personal circumstances, time, your budget etc.

Personally, I have had success with affiliate marketing and I believe this is the quickest and easiest route to success online than any other method out there. Simply because the barrier to entry is very low, it's beginner friendly, you don't need to have your own product (in some cases you don't even need a website) and you don't need much money to get started.

No matter which method you choose to start an online business know that it's not going to be a walk in the park.Yes, I mentioned affiliate marketing as the best way to succeed online and build a highly profitable business and I stand by that 100%. However, you will still need to be prepared to invest in yourself and be committed whatever you choose.

The most important factor to starting any business is that there is a proper training and education system that will guide you on how to learn and succeed in the opportunity. If there is no educational training and coach systems in place it will be very hard to succeed.

If it's in my city I'd sell fried chicken with that $400 using GrabFood online service and get at least $200 net profit every week, which in a sum will be $800 minimum per month. That's sweet.
Just need Youtube, Facebook and Instagram videos to market the discount coupon localy.
