NEWBIE to Affiliate Marketing and Online Revenue

New to affiliate marketing and online revenue. Just started to two websites , one functions as a promotional website for my modeling and public speaking. The other is e commmerce offering web design and social media management services. I am trying to find new ways to promote and market the websites.

- Tips for driving traffic to my domains.
- click bank affiliate marketing ideas ( unique ideas, out-of- the box marketing tools)
- social media presence building
- other online resources for beginners


Any tips for a beginner are greatly appreciated.

    Welcome Jamie,

    There is much to learn so I would recommend reading a couple
    of books (on passive income) and watching some tutorials over
    at YouTube. And if I were just starting out I would narrow my
    focus and not be all over the place trying to do everything at
    once, because scattered efforts bring scattered results.

    I recommend you build a large following on Instagram and YouTube for free traffic. If you want to venture into Paid traffic I recommend Google Ads start with a low budget and call their customer support they will gladly give you advice to maximize traffic.

    The first challenge is not to appear 'salesy' when creating content because that is the natural tendency - to 'advertise'. Instead, always try to inject 'human' into your content, let me explain, talk about your personal experience if any about the products, or it could be as a story of someone else using the product. People are generally are tired of being sold to, hence the challenge is to not appear like another salesguy but rather as someone who provides value.

    To sum up...
    1. Avoid being 'salesy'
    2. Inject the 'human' factor
    3. Provide value
    The sales will naturally follow.

    first you should start by making only one of these websites successful and once you did and have your plan , you can start making the other one a success aswell


    because one thing which destroyed my success in the past is that I had so many ideas and wanted to manage them all at once..


    and guess what.. I ended up beeing overwhelmed and failed with all of them because I could not concentrate my efforts and energy into one

    One important thing to keep in mind is that you can have the best looking website in the world but many will not make a purchase on their first visit. It's important to start building a list early on by providing value and building a trust relationship with your visitors first before expecting to make sales.

    For modelling and public speaking try to create free offer so you can give away and brand your website and for the traffic youtube, instagram and tiktok are great to jump. About Clickbank promotion if you want out-of-the-box technique you can try to share postcard with QR code on it. Build your audience with facebook fan page with alot of events like voucher, giveaway, lucky draw, etc. For your resources must have autoresponder and some social media tools so can make your work more easier. Good luck for your sites.

    Well the biggest mistake that people do in affiliate marketing its that they focus just on selling .I remember about me in the past i was making spam ,promoting sit lnks on facebook youtube etc .The thing its you need to deliver value to help people .You need to think how you can help this person regarding to his question ,problem etc

    The best advice I can give is to focus on one platform to get traffic. For your business model of website design learning how facebook ads work would be a good place to start.
