I suggest you study affiliate marketing. IMO it's the easiest way to start making money online.

To add to what the honourable member mentioned...

Affiliate marketing is the quickest way to generate an additional income stream online, once you've mastered selling online.

It's not easy starting out in affiliate marketing, as there are tons to learn/study. Affiliate marketing should be taken seriously as it's an actual online business, that can one day supplement your current 9 to 5 income.

Here are plenty of threads and WSO's on the warrior forum, to help you become a seasoned affiliate marketer. Just type "affiliate marketing" into the warrior forum search bar and you'll find a plethora of threads that will educate you on the subject.

All the best with your online endeavors Toni!

Actually it's very easy: You sign up for an affiliate program, get your link, start promoting.

      What's easier?

It's the "promoting" part that takes study and testing. Any online business model requires promotion so affiliate marketing is the easiest.

I suggest you find a service that is in demand, evergreen and pays recurring commissions. Then stick with it.

Yes getting your affiliate link is the easiest part of getting started in affiliate marketing. Yet some people still don't know how to get an affiliate link. So it may be easy and straight forward for you to get an affiliate link but not for a newbie.

Promoting online and mastering selling online are two different things. You can promote things online that will never make a sale, it's like beating a dead horse. Master selling online, it more profitable.

Starting tomorrow and making money in general are at odds with one another. You can look at this ( https://www.warriorforum.com/warrior...days-ebay.html ) and find things in your home you are no longer using and list things and sell them.

The suggestion of becoming an affiliate marketer.. as much as it is an idea... it has its issues. You can by all means search "Affiliate Marketing" here and find a plethora of content. The problem is most of that content is how to actually do it, or be successful with it.... because its just not that simple.

just find an affiliate program they say... Get a link they say... promote they say.... and right off the bat I ask "Promote to who?" and that one question is the make or break point in affiliate marketing.

I suggest forget the product... forget selling... There are far better uses of your time for the foreseeable future. Build an audience I say. What do you like to do when you are not at work? start sharing that. Build an audience. Tic Toc and IG and Facebook and Snap and what ever else comes along. Just MAKE content. Get YOU - in front of people. Build an audience.

Once you have an audience THEN and only THEN do you want to figure out how to monetize the audience YOU have created. Doing this in reverse ( find a product and then try to sell ) simply will not work - and you will be wasting your time.

Do YOU.. be honest, be truthful. The time will come when you can sell to those that have their eyes on YOU.

    Hope that Helps!

        It's straight bullshit.

And this is coming from someone that pretty much in concept agrees that the "make or break point in affiliate marketing" being the Traffic, or Promotion, or Audience building.

This is not really a true statement. You want to make a sale this week... you list something on eBay... why eBay? because the traffic is already there... NO promotion required actually. Just pay attention to Market, and list the item and sell the item.

There Is a thread I will not link to again that clearly lays the path to 6 digit NET NET in a years time selling stuff on eBay - I would suggest THIS is the easiest. No website, No ads or how funnels work or any of it. Everything you need to know to put money in your pocket faster than most will ever get a site up and running is in the before mentioned thread.

thats an interesting way of seeing it.
and yes sure this will and can work this way

however if you have an audience within a niche and then no idea how to monetize it- maybe also because there just doesn't exist products to promote or only low quality products etc then you have a real problem..

passion is nice, but you can not buy anything from passion at the end

There is no such thing as a niche with no products... Niches with no crap information products maybe... I personally do not sell information products ( yet - a lot of people I know are suggesting heavily I should ) I sell stuff, things, hard product.

If I like to bake cookies.. and I create a video about baking cookies... The cookie cutters and the cookie pan, and whatever else with have a link in the description to buy on Amazon.

Building personal BRAND is far more than building building building, and then hitting them with some silly offer. BRAND is conditioning your viewers watchers followers with good solid free content that in the case of the cookies gives them an opportunity to buy from you. They trust your opinion enough to buy something from Amazon you suggest.

THIS is data.... as you make videos and link more amazon stuff you get an idea of what people are buying. When you understand what people are buying YOU the creator get in contact with China and BRAND what ever it is. Little Miss Mandy's cookie sheets or whatever

You already have the market research and then you the BRAND... build build build and then hit them with a better than silly affiliate type offer.

This isn't about passion... this is about being true and honest with yourself, and the people you are reaching out to. Selling some crap affiliate program YOU personally have never bought - THINK about that - Selling something YOU personally have never used vs the exact opposite, something you DO use. In the end which will produce better results?

The general idea of how to be an "Internet Marketer" on this forum is so obviously broken. If you are chasing dollars and don't care - that's just wrong.. and as I think we all know it simply does not work. And if you think it works... go spend some time and read the main forum for a bit. It doesn't work.

The question then becomes - Why doesn't it work? and the answer is damn simple in my book. Most have not a clue what they are selling - never have used it - and are chasing dollars. And to top it off are trying to do this with NO amount of audience to try and sell to.

So we are left reading, My ad is not converting. My Traffic is not getting any traffic. Goofs that think placing a link in the post will be the magic bullet. People with under 100 posts with signatures to some offer - with a collection of posts that say "Yeah I agree" all over the place. *** Added Later - This statement is not directed at you - didn't realize at the time of writing you fit this description - it was written as a Generalization - Sorry

What happens if someone like me were to create a WSO here on this forum? On a subject I rant on regularly... I have built trust, and Authority out the tail end. Would anyone interested think twice about buying my product? and WHY is that? I have spent countless posts building BRAND.

I am not talking out my tail end here... look at the paragraph above as proof of concept. BRAND works. Active in your face proof this works. Im not talking about it, I am a demonstration of it.

I like this part about your answer.
Because that's exactly the way most of people are doing it.
And I was completely the same when I first started to be honest.
I tried to sell some sh*t I never used myself... just in order to make some money.

But soon I realized that it doesn't work this way and moved from selling stuff I don't use or have myself to selling things I'm using myself.

I don't think that people are doing it the wrong way on purpose, they are just following an instinct and a simple desire without actually knowing how things are working.

So yes building a brand is important, but it's also something not everybody knows how to do it correctly or even wants to do it..

There should also be more marketers out there who are teaching people that stuff instead of the dream of fast and easy money online..
          {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[11592033].message }}
  • With more people opting to order in or have stuff delivered to their homes, ecommerce would also be good option.

It looks like you have a start of a plan but have you given any though on how you're going to drive traffic to your site and how you are going to monetize the traffic?

Hey Tony, I am Adam, nice to meet you!

$3000 per month is a good amount to make especially when you are so young.
Now you have got a lot of free time, so it's a really good time for building another income stream.

WF is really a good place to expand your knowledge, start a new income stream and get help along the way.

    Good luck and stay safe!

    Hey Tony, welcome!

Paid leave is awesome. Beats downsizing by exactly $3k/mo

No time like now to learn something new and finally start doing what You like. Does not have to be make money online in a classic sense of all this "affiliate-funneling-stuff". I've picked up full stack web developer courses - always wanted to make my own web apps and learn javascript...

T1 customer support means you are disciplined, patient and know how to talk to people - there, your unique skill set Plus probably plenty you are not even aware that you have.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you have excellent opportunity to start your own stuff. Ideally, if it is something you truly enjoy doing. Anything can be turned into cash, even if you do not see how YET, it will come to you

You are already on the right track - looking around and asking questions!

    Good luck!

    I agree with drd1812!

If you already have strong interpersonal skills, plus something you are both good and passionate about, then it can really open up a lot of doors for you. Building a following before doing anything is ridiculous. Find out what you can help people with, research their needs, find a way to help them with those needs, and you're good to start.

Keep in mind that a lot of building your own thing will also revolve around your headspace. You will have failures, you will make mistakes, but being able to keep moving forward, while maintaining enthusiasm is crucial.

If you're uncertain of this, or even what you passion is, feel free to reach out. I'll share whatever I can with you

    Cheers!
