  • what about this website ?

  • I would suggest the secret is going deep into terms and search out terms with low monthly traffic but are going to be more targeted. I will take a term that provides 10 visitors a month and I can convert 8 of them over a term that may bring me 1000 visitors and only be able to convert 8 of them. BANDWIDTH costs money.

So shooting for terms that have MASS volume 5000 searches a month ( example ) - on paper looks like a good idea, but #1 those terms are going to be hard to rank for, and #2 financially landing in the top 3 for a term like that will shoot your traffic up requiring you to up your hosting package - and MY experience suggests the rate of conversion drops thru the floor and its simply not worth it.

Long tail keyword terms with minimal searches per month is the best place to start. Ranking for these lower traffic terms will get you conversions ( sales ) and with the better placement possible with these terms will assist in developing your DA score. Its a win - win.

    Hope that Helps!

  • I was told to join this site and start helping people as one way to gain organic traffic. You need to have a certain amount of posts to display your link in your signature.

Blog once a week and use Yoast SEO to help you determine you SEO rating and readability of your blog based on keywords you think will help drive traffic. Also, you can blog about trending topics.

Quora is good I just started there.

Slideshare is another site I am looking at. Basically, you create presentation slide decks and can add links in at the end to your site.

Post on social daily. Everyone tells me that I am missing massive opportunity on YouTube. I will get there. Also, Facebook live sessions are a good way to get engagement. You can mention and post your URL at the end.

It is taking time for me to build up some credibility but, I believe the work I am putting in now will pay off. Organic traffic is great because the people visiting are interested in your stuff.

Don't forget to pixel your site with Google and Facebook. You can use those visitors later when running ads. Never send generic paid traffic to your site. It will only skew the numbers later. One last tip, make sure you have a lead magnet to an email list. You can then send emails to this list and drive traffic back to your site. Example, new blog post, etc.

  • Now a day that is vary important thing for us.
  • Hi, congrats that you got your website up !

I do not think it is easy but it is not impossible to get organic traffic. It needs time and patience. If you want to see an influx of traffic then it has to be paid traffic method. However, with paid traffic methods, you may not necessarily see an immediate or influx of traffic (eg. PPC advertising).

Free traffic method can range from joining Facebook Groups, Blog, Articles contribution and joining Q&A forums, etc.

Please be reminded that it takes TIME to see the result as it is not an overnight miracle. However, consistency, patience and learning to give values to potential audience will get you there eventually.

    All the best :-)

  • In IM you dont need to put all your eggs in one single basket as you can loose all your business .Also seo takes a lot of time and its more and more competitive ,work also with youtube ,email markeing etc
  • Very good suggestions here.
I believe you must first off make sure your have great on-page SEO.
Base this around valuable keyword research.
Then you must do off-page optimization, build back links!
    & Be Patient
  • Sorry - Not possible. Linkbuilding/SEO is a slow process - and if you linkbuild too fast, you will get the attention of Google (and not in a good way).
    • [2] replies
    • Nothing is impossible mate. Many webmasters use his mind, tricks and get good organic traffics along with ranking within few weeks or hardly in 2 to 3 months. And about all SEO company give also time period of 3 to 6 months hardly for good ranking and traffics for clients keywords ....... There are lots of ways in SEO and Link Building to drive traffics and get ranking in search engines within limited time ..... Only need efforts, a bit passion and concentration.
    • THIS is false on a whole lot of levels... THIS is what everyone says.. because it is their experience. If you read SEO practitioner blogs with case studies they talk weeks maybe a month or 2 on a regular basis. Its really not that hard to get results "Fast"

The GREATEST issue with SEO is the target terms people try to go after. Nobody has any business trying to rank for the term XBOX. but people do.

I am going to blanket say 90% of the people reading this are just starting new sites. "New Site" equals no DA ( Domain Authority ) without DA, regardless of backlinks or whatever else you are LIMITED in the terms you might be able to rank for.

Look at DABK's post above. you ideally want to shoot for terms with MINIMAL traffic flow. generally speaking these are terms that have little to no competition... and actually can provide greater conversion rates. you DO NOT want to hit the sweet spot I see posted all over the internet of 5000 visitors per month. WHY? because you will not rank. Its that simple. THIS is why SEO "takes so long" because people target terms they should not be targeting.

Think about this... 10 pages of content on a website targeting terms with 5000 visitors or more a month... We read it here all the time.. it takes time, it takes months, it takes years you have to build back links you have to do this and that and the other. and your site has no DA score.

Lets take those same 10 pages of content and target terms with say 100 visitors or less per month. No competition.. you might get lucky and land on the first page of the SERPS with your first try on 8 of those pages. you WILL get visitors.. and because as DABK has stated the terms are targeted and you might actually get conversions.

So what is DA? DA is a score that determines in theory the ability for your site to rank pages. The higher the DA the greater probability you can rank a page. How do you build DA? rank pages in the top 10 is a good start. The process of ranking pages BUILDS DA.

Going back to the 10 page example above.. moving forward if you have 10 pages ranking for lower traffic terms what is the likelihood you will be able to rank 5 more or 10 more? What happens if you remain disciplined with this and after say 20 ranked pages you shoot for a term with 1000 views a month?

Your saying "Not Possible" and I am saying follow this strategy.. and YES it is absolutely possible.. as in repeatedly possible.
      • [ 3 ] Thanks
  • Hi,

I suggest to you Digital marketing or SEO. Nowadays it's the best way to promote business in a local and outside location. Some digital marketing parts are related to paid advertising but SEO is an organic way to get traffic on the website, in which two parts Off-page SEO and On-page SEO.

In On-page SEO where you can optimize your websites like meta tags, website content, image optimization and etc.

In Off-page SEO where you can create backlinks to get organic traffic on your website.
  • Start writing content for guest posts on sites that allow it.
And score backlinks for your site while you do that.
You could also post on relevant topics on forums. But that does not get much juice to your site.

  • That is not true - you can pay $5 for a signature to advertise your website - not to advertise an affiliate link but your own site or blog. (subscribed threads in your control panel).

Please learn to use the 'quote' function if you are going to answer multiple comments. You might want to click on your user name in the black toolbar above - click on the gold 'box' that says 'view classic' and see if that version of the forum is easier for you to follow. It is a more standard forum format.

  • SEO articles are a powerful and effective way to drive organic traffic.

In combination with other SEO techniques it works really fast.

  • I would use Pinterest or Youtube as you can quickly begin getting traffic to your website.

Use, google keyword planner to come up with topics to discuss Record video discussing the topic using either slides, or screen-shares or a combination of both.

Use your phone notes apps to listen to your video and write out the transcript for you.

Now take that transcript and post it to your blog.

Pin your blog posts being sure to use an attractive/interesting picture as the main image for your pinned blog post.

Post your video on youtube using a thumbnail that's interesting/attractive.

The combination of youtube, pinterest and your blog should help get clicks to your website while you wait for your blog posts to get indexed.

Also, build your twitter, facebook pages for your website/business.

    • Maybe it is time for you to do paid ads. I think that there is just too much competition in your niche.

For example, if you go to Google and do a search for and try to rank for the keyword make money online, there are ONLY 4,040,000,000 results.

Too competitive and I would not even try to rank. Total waste of time.
  • If you want it fast, you'll need to pay for ads. But it's not instant. Even if you have an unlimited budget, if there's nothing in your website to keep them there, you're just wasting money. So make sure your website has the content that your customers are looking for.

  • Hello Virtual Veena
Getting Organic traffic is not hard. You can get it by practicing SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
  • Hey Veena, Getting traffic is quite tuf nowadays but it not tha hard. You just need o be original.
Post authoritativ content over other sites and take pars in others coversation like in reddit and quora would be good fit and provide them suitable answers.

Following ae the activities that you will perform to get traffic :

    Guest blogging
Sharing your content over facebook, linkedin, instagram
    quora, reddit
    Blogging over other sites
    Bookmarking
    engage in Forums
  • There are a lot of ways.
I will try to help you.
To get started, find your ranking keywords.
See the top SERPs for your keywords and analyze your competitors.
Find the best solutions for your page and promote it using comments or posts.
  • It`s the traditional stuff, like backlinks and guest posts. You should consider launching a blog on your website, really helpful to get links. But it`s really not an easy task!
  • Re: USING QUOTES - Good try but not quite there...

If you choose to answer every post in a thread (it's a choice) - use quotes so others know WHAT you are responding to - BUT DO IT IN ONE POST. Do not make 8-10 posts - one after the other.

I merged multiple posts above so you'll see what I mean. Not everyone will provide the answer to exactly what you ask - and you can't control how people answer.

  • Part of the reason why its a nightmare is because from the looks of things you want to immediately start ranking and at the bare minimum it's going to take at least a few months; moreover if you have just started a new site (which'll likely be as well relegated to google';s alleged sandboxed).

Your goal here should be to get traffic in a few months, not overnight or even this week.

The long-tail post above I agree with completely, though, in the interim. Go after keywords with very low search volume and create content based around that.

The key is SEARCH PRECEDES YOUR TOPIC, not the other way around. You do not create content and topics that you pull from the top of your head. You create topics and content that is being searched for on google.

    Search before content, always.

    Good luck

  • Create a facebook page for your site/ business.

Post entertaining stuff and, now and again share an articke from your site.

Join facebook groups in the niche, the large ones.

    Participate.

Write articles that help people in the niche solve a problem. That is important.

Not general articles, not rehashed stuff they can find anywhere; stuff you know because you solved the same problem or that you researched in depth, do your info far exceeds what they can find with a quick google/ youtube search.

SEO should be secondary. Go for it, no point in leaving money on the table; but it is slower and you should always have more than one method and the main ones should be easy to scale up fast.

Paid ads are easy to scale up fast; facebook groups not that easy but easier than SEO.

Do not break facebook rules. Scaling up is about finding larger, targeted groups and giving them better content. A bit more often but not crazy often.

The idea is to give them content they want to share to their followers/ friends

    • I am going to tread lightly here, I value the opinions of many that have spoken here. As much as I get the idea of spreading to thin... I know I have changed my position on this greatly n the last year or so... I just don't think there is such a thing. I think there is to narrow if anything.

The issue most have with the concept is HOW to create that much content across so many platforms. The answer I believe to be simple in concept, but takes an amount of practice. Pillar content is the method. Converting a centralized piece of content in to a number of micro pieces of content to spread across the many social platforms. A video here a quote there a link back to the content over on that one. get involved in a conversation about the content on twitter. Posting the images from the post on Inst and Pinterest.

The only way to get attention... is to post in places that will get attention. and the thought that do X on Y platform until you get it right and move on is at this point narrow minded. I will add - if we are discussing running ads on all of these platforms I will 100% agree work on one platform and one platform only, until you get it down, then move onto the next. But sharing content - Share away.

directly @VirtualVeena I am in 100% agreement that Google really doesnt care what you post on facebook or twitter. I would do the initial focusing on your profile for each to ensure your site link is there - but after that Social Media does not help SEO... it in itself is a method to get traffic - in the same way you look at Google getting you traffic.

It is that thought process that has led me to being active on a multitude of platforms at a time. 20 to 40 pieces of content a day should be a thing. A new post. 4 shares on Pintrest, 4 Tweets, 3 Instagram Posts, 4 Facebook posts A couple of Forum posts, Stumble whatever... That's almost 20 right there - and then doing that EVERY DAY!

And then on top of that, you have to actually USE the social platforms. Going on and posting posting posting will get you no where. you have to equally consume - AND comment AKA actually be "Social" instead of a SPAM *SS. I personally CONSUME way more than I post... And I intelligently comment on other people content. <-- THIS is the actual aspect of Social Strategies that get you traffic. Posting content is about YOU and your ends... Commenting on other peoples stuff takes YOU out of the picture ( unless you are spamming )

A new video by Logan Paul ( of all people - I actually do watch his podcast regularly because as he gets older he is getting wiser - most of the time LOL ) I think puts a ton of this into perspective. If we were to stop looking at all of this as being ME ME ME I want traffic.. and started looking at content as a "Resume" - why should someone come look at your content? - Sh*t would change quick.

WHY LOGAN PAUL HATES VIEWS - YouTube

    • In 3-6 months or less (my guess is...less) - this pandemic will no longer be the top of the news every day. You have a site that copies articles from other sites - it's not an authority site or a medical site or an official info site.

When the topic fades fom the top of the news - traffic to your site will die. There will be no way to revive it because you have focused ONLY on one 'trending' topic.

At that point it doesn't matter WHAT you've done 'for SEO' - the topic will be old news and your site will be old news. Why is that hard to understand?

Your questions here are good enough that you are receiving help from some top marketers here. Seriously - stop and think about what others are advising before coming up with a snappy excuse.

The fitting option for making your site SEO friendly is to deploy various tactics to increase the stream of organic traffic to your website.

    SOme ways to do it

    Keyword research
    User Intent and Site Structure

  • If you started a new site, then don't expect to start ranking till your site is at least 3-6months old.

There are steps to ranking and patience is required plus it depends on what you are trying to rank for.

But these are some steps you should take some of which I have implemented and have worked for me and also made me affiliate commissions in less than a month

    1. You need to write relevant content
    2. You need social signals
    3. You need blog comments
    4. You need links from forums e.g Quora

That is the first step of ranking. There are more intermediate steps like web 2.0, guest posts and more

But you need to take it slow and one thing at a time.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Really depends on what you're 'selling'. Try to reach your target group on their social media platforms or through certain guides that they look into. Maybe even news articles. You can also do offline marketing if your product or service (sorry for that wording) is relevant for your locals

  • Free traffic comes at the massive toll which consumes all your time, and even then conversions are not guaranteed. Great free traffic sources are Craigslist, Quora, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest.

Paid Traffic like pay per click can be laser focused with Evergreen keywords and reaching your exact customer demographic. You can use services like Google Adwords, Reddit Ads and Microsoft Ads.

If you want converting traffic you need to find the Evergreen keywords meaning what are the top three competitors in your niche using for their Google Adwords campaigns you can use Spyfu to do that research then get started on your own Google Adwords campaign.

  • Hi veena,
This is what exactly i was thinking 6 months back, If you are serious enough to drive traffic to your new blogs. I got the solution to your problem. This is my honest review and trying these exact strategies on my blogs.

I am not going to say On Page SEO and Off Page SEO. I hope you know that or many have already told you to do.

Strategy #1:This is little bit hard but it will be easy if you love designing minimalistic images. Start a Pinterest Account and add Minimum 3-5 Images a day to your profile with Image Related Keywords. Just a quick Calculation 3 pins x 30 days = 90 pins min. So try to create Min 100 images in 30 days and use only LSI keywords related to the image topic. This way you can drive traffic to your new blog.(Similarly with Instagram)

Strategy #2 : Be active on Quora and Yahoo Answers. Try to Answer 5 questions a day on quora or yahoo answer together for the next 30 days which is 5 Answers x 30 days = 150 Questions. Doing so you can link to your blog post for at-least 50 Answer. Don't spam Answers with backlinks.

The above 2 strategies work better if you want to drive instant traffic that makes you happy.

You should also have a website that loads quickly. A good internal structure for the user to have a good navigability and create some backlinks that are closely related to your niche.
