What can a doggy fine artist offer an instagram pet influencer?

Hi, newb here who doesn't really use personal social media.

I make dog and cat fine artwork as a SIDE PROJECT so a lot of traditional marketing techniques are more trouble than they are worth. I've decided that a micro-influencer approach on Instagram is pretty much the main way to go. An alternative is some charity collab?

So if I find a look-at-my-dog type account, then what to do exactly? I could draw their dog/cat but that's like 7+ hours of work. That seems too high a cost for just a simple shoutout on their end. I do fairly complex work like that.

Also I'm hoping to sell pre-made original art or art prints, NOT do custom pet portraits to my true customers so I don't want to give off that impression for them.

I'm guessing I could offer to sort of use their dog as a model, give them a free print, then sell more prints and the original to somebody else?

Again, i'd like to reiterate that I don't like social media and every action taken there must be a pretty high return for the cost it imposes on my attention span. Seriously, it gives me A.D.D and I got a mechanical engineering degree to finish.

You could try contact bigger ecom stores and send them samples of their art saying that you would like to work with them. If they say yes, they will most likely just give you a commission %

    Money offers have always worked.
