Hello Back For The first time..

Hello Warriors,

I started affiliate marketing in 2006...walked away from the business in 2011.

Started back in 2020. Have stated 4 websites since then and started some ppc advertising to offers from clickbank mainly.

A few sales since then but nothing to brag about.

Here to learn and help in anyway.

Thx

First off welcome back. Couple of questions why do you have 4 websites ? Are all 4 profitable or just 1 or 2 ?

Hello, and thank you. None of them are profitable. Although im still testing offers but 2 of the sites are niche sites because 1 is in fitness the other is in electronics they are getting a small amount of visitors.

One of the other 2 has gotten sales thru a squeeze page which gets me between 6-10 subsribers a day with ppc at about $20 ad spend. (Ive narrowed down the keywords that convert the most as well as cheapest for me but thats only for sign-ups)

The sales have came from my emails not one from the actual offer on my lander so i think its time to add a similar offer and see how that goes.

But yea the 4 websites just stem from ideas i had for offers and i wanted to snatch the domain name while it was still available.

Thanks i do agree...but here is my current delimma. I have 2 out if the 4 sites that have gotten consistent results.

1 site gets great sign up conersions compared to the other 3 this has resulted in sales thru my follow up series.

The other site has gotten a few sales thru ppc.

So im currently focusing on those 2 for now because im getting small results.

      Thx

I regret leaving...i kick myself in the butt because i should've kept one of my sites. I think if i wouldve kept it it would be one of the top ranked sites for that niche today...

i started it in 05 and ran it for 5yrs...if i kept it today i know it would be bringing in atleast a $1000 a mo. I was making about $300 a mo from it when i let it go.

But i was just going through a ruff patch at the time and the money wasnt coming quick enough so i chose to walk away.

Now i regret that decision almost 10yrs later.

      No they are all different
Fitness, electronics, music and the 4th one is broad.

I will be using the 4th one for testing many different offers. Products and cpa offers and articles for seo purpose to see if i can get organic traffic to offers as well.

    First thing first, welcome back!!

I'm open to free discussion if you want.

I guess you have 4 sites because you probably aren't a newbie otherwise information overload could leave you with an unfinished site and here you are with 4.

Then for you to run ppc means you are knowledgeable.

Just wondering how the sales is with the 4 sites using ppc?

      Hello and thank you.

Yes none of the sites are complete but they all have the main ingredients that i always use for every site that i ever created and for me they must have (Contact, about, terms, privacy, disclaimer pages and atleast one signup form and article).

After that i usually will test offers/sales pages and add content as i go because google likes to see frequent content being added to your site which is great for seo to bring organic traffic to my offers.

The only purpose for me to add articles, in the beginning atleast is to try and rank for high vol low comp keywords. Easier said than done.

As i mentioned in another comment my sales have only came from email follow ups that i got from ppc to a squeeze page.

The other site has a couple sales through ppc. Those 2 sites, are the ones im going to focus on currently. Because of somewhat consistent engagement.

    Hey

Bit like you, I started online around 2006. Tried everything from affiliate sites, seo, Amazon stores etc.

Only when I focused all my energy building a list, did I start seeing a return on investment in terms of time and money.

Now stable with recurring monthly paychecks.

So advise focusing on building an asset (your list) which cant be manipulated by google SEO updates.

    To Your Success

Thank you so much for sharing.

Yes one thing i remember when i started in 06 and it has stuck with me til this day and im sure your heard the same "The Money Is In The List" i believe it even more so now.

This year i started creating landers that direct link to the offer and if i get a good response then ill throw up a sign up form before they get to the offer.

Is this your approach also when list building?

      Thx again.

I always get the email address first then redirect to a page that says check your inbox in the next 10 minutes to receive your offer. This gets them in the habit of checking their email and more importantly your name etc in their inbox.

On the redirect page I put a couple of low end offers. This is to assist with clawing back my ad spend on paid traffic.

    All the best

4 websites sounds extreme. I know you are hungry to make as much money online as you have missed out on over the past 9yrs or so but I don't think you need all that.

I personally left the business in 2015 and returned again in 2020 and I set up a website and have made over $500 in affiliate Commissions in less than a month.

So having a gazillion number of websites and hoping one pulls in the gold mine might not be necessary after all.

I agree one site is a handful let alone 4. I dont recomend starting with 4 sites. It would be Best to pick a niche and run with it i suppose.

I always looked at it like owning multiple businesses in regards to my sites. But more than one can def be overwhelming.

But my plan is more seo for the 3 niche sites (i understand organic traffic takes a while to kick in) where as the one is strictly for offers, mainly affiliate offers.

Thats great $500 in less than a month.

Can i ask if those sales came from email or off your website direct?

    Welcome back,

I first started doing affiliate marketing back in 2008 just after the economy went downfall. Back then I was heavily depending on article marketing through ezinearticles. I remember getting great amount of visitors to my offers and build a huge email list while make a decent money by promoting clickbank products.

    The good old days..

I stopped doing affiliate marketing a few years later as I started a few offline businesses and couldn't menage both.

After the coronavirus thing, all of my other offline businesses started to struggle so I decided to get back online.

It feels good to be back and discussing things on forums once again.

    Best wishes to you all,

    Welcome back!

I would suggest narrowing your focus and scaling what works from there. If you're sinking money into ads and list building without much result, focus on offering value to your list, and gaining free traffic a bit more.

Attraction marketing on Facebook has worked well for a ton of people I know personally, as well as Youtube traffic from making instructional or review videos.

    Best wishes moving forward!

Since i started this post i havent received anymore sales but i have received probably 40 or 50 new sign ups.

Since im not receiving any sales im going to focus my attention on my followup series.

I have setup a welcome email followed by the next email 1 day later.

Today i set it up so now instead of a day the 2nd follow up email will be sent 4hrs after the 1st email which is my welcome email.

Ive paused all ppc advertising for the time being to put some attention on the list.
