I am very new to affiliate marketing. I am in the process of building my first affiliate marketing website. I did the keyword research, but I am confused about how to make pages or writing content with the keywords.

    Hello!

Everybody is not a writer. If you are not
able to create your own content then you
should hire a professional writer to do
    that for you.

Make pages? I guess you meant to write posts.

I started out as a non-writer, everybody does. But the truth is when you type in the first word the rest flows. I wrote one of my first articles on my blog and someone commented saying I have the potential to be a good writer, that made my day.

So how do you start writing, even if it's something you know little or nothing about.

    1. Aim for 1,500 words (Google loves that, the lengthier the better)
    2. Split your keyword into 5 subtopics at least.
    3. Search each subtopic on Google and get the information you need, take a few minutes and READ through (reading it helps).
    4. Now you have read it, it's in your head. Write a short article of about 200 -300 words under each subtopic
    5. Now proofread everything and if it sounds empty, search for more information and add it up under each subtopic.

Now under each subtopic its kinda easy to have 300 words under each subtopic and before you know it, you have 1500. Less is fine, if you can do just 800 - 1,000 that's okay.

    Resources
    • Use Grammarly, it really helped tone my spellings and vocabulary
    • Use pixabay for images
    • Add videos from Youtube
    • Canva is your best friend if you are not good with photoshop, one amazing thing you can do is design infographics with it.

    I hope this helps

Some good advice in there except the part about 1500 words. Google does not love that. If you have an adsesne site with 1500-word posts that don't ahve a reason to be there, it will ban your site.

Google "loves" meaningful, useful content, whether it is 200 words, 10 words or 1500.

The subject matter dictates how long the content has to be. Long, by itself, has no value.

sEN, 28, go to quora.com and type in your keyword in the search bar. You'll find a lot of questions people have for those keywords. And a lot of answers. Read the answers, learn. Read up some more (books, articles, other blogs).

When you know the questions people actually have, it is easier to think of content. When you know the answer, it is even more so.

the market prices (budget ones) are $5-10 for 1000 words for outsourcing writers. there are many great ones out there.

Professional services by professional ENG writers in average are GBP 500-3000/article

though, if you plan to publish a lot - start thinking of hiring a content writer VA (virtual assistant).

    best of success!

See post # 29 that poster gave a suggestion. Also you can look right here on the Warrior Forum and find several. Try the Marketplace. https://www.warriorforum.com/warriors-hire/ Also look at some of the posters here that are writers that show up in this section and the main section of the forum.

You need to make a list with the keywords. So that you would know about what you are writing. It will give you some idea. Unfortunately mostly people coming to the website do not read those texts. But you need to for Google to rank.
I made an website but it is in Dutch and French, you can check the structure:
If you are using wordpress to create a website, you can use Yoast plugin, it helps you with impriving your website.
    Good luck with your work.

you don't seem to have a lot of experience therefore I would not advice you to focus on keywords and write content for google because it will be very challenging for you to compete against already existing sites and people who know what they are doing.

My recommendation is that you start a simple blog and just document what you are learning every day. Just be original, be yourself and share your thoughts.

Once you wrote your first articles you can get traffic to your blog from social media (for example pinterest is a good source for blog traffic). You can also get traffic when you comment on other blogs within your niche.

There are a lot of options, good luck!

A short but very useful suggestion might work excellent for you is using Google Trend. Search with your keywords and you will find the trending topics and find your favorite topic and use not more than 2-3 relevant keywords in the content. Try to write highly informative content and make it more explanatory so that your readers can find it useful and engaging so that your site's trust score can be increased.

You can try outsourcing some writing on Textbroker. Let them know which keywords (and variations thereof) to use.

Also, request that it be an "SEO friendly" article, and must past aYoast or All In One SEO plugin test.

    Best of luck to you!

First of all you don't need to build a website ,you can go to wordpress and get that free. Before you search for keyword Ideas you should have an idea of what you want to talk about. You can find content ideas on quora,YouTube comments sections, facebook groups, podcast, Buzzsumo ,check out news headlines, checkout blogs etc.

I'd say don't try to rank your newly created content that you're about to promote as an affiliate.

Instead, pay for the traffic. This will help you test what's working fast. However, the hardest traffic to convert is cold traffic.

It will take a bit longer. Meaning you'll have to write your article about the topics your audience is interested in that leads them to a capture page to get their email. That's the first step.

    2. Inside your follow up sequence you'll continue to provide a bit more value on the topic at hand(your affiliate offer). Because you need to build the relationship first. Duh!

    3. After several days or even weeks , you provide value again. Then send them to your affiliate offer. So it's, value, value, value, then offer. Kinda like the old jab, jab, hook.

    4. Your offer needs to be set up with retargeting on facebook because most won't buy. This are cheap traffic ads and it helps with your conversions. So learn how to create custom audiences and set up conversion before driving any traffic.

    5. Right before they land on your affliate offer, you'll need to set up a bridge page. This is page you set up right before you show them the goods. The page is going to educate your audience about the affilate offer you are about to share with them. So you create a video of you or animation telling them about how good the product is, and if you can purchase the product yourself even better as you provide a review it. Then right below that video you tell them Step 1.Purchase product here(button) Step 2.Send me a copy of your receipt for your free coupon.(so offer them a small discount) Step 3.Grab your value packed bonuses.(find related offers. Use PLR's for this) So you're basically saying all this in the video after you tell them how badass it is. Then repeat steps 1-3 below the video as the call to actions.

The easier way would be to create a list of influencers in your niche with a 2nd facebook personal account and follow, like, comment and engage your influencers in your niche market in order to get in their radar. Once you have build your relationship. You can reach out to them and pay them. This is much easier traffic to convert because your influencer traffic is "hot" and not cold. But could take even longer than driving cold traffic, but only until the relationship is created. But very well worth it.

The first mistake newbies make is to try and convert cold traffic. It can be done, but it take a bit loner and more of know how.

First things first, since you must have complete knowledge of your product for which you want to write content. "it must be unique", you may see the content of your competitors this will give you a pretty clear picture of writing content!!! if you are still struggling than its best to hire a professional writer.

You are going to create your site in wordpress, right? It is very easy to create pages and posts by wordpress.

For writing you have to make a strategy. Start at the end, What is your ultimate goal? Traffic , customers and/or any other.

    Which topics to write about?
    - Think about the very basic problems in your niche
    - What questions they can possibly have
    - Look at other blogs in your niche and see what they are doing.
    - Tools like Buzzsumo, Feedly and Google Alerts can help you alot.

Put your focus on START rather than PERFECT. Once you start, perfection will follow later. As said "Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can"

    Good luck!

Most of the above comments are spot on. I think hiring a writer can be good as they are professionals at what they do however you know your brand best. Depending on what you are writing about, people may want to hear from yourself and you might feel more involved doing this yourself; especially when it comes to keywords. However, other things are just as important when it comes to blog writing. You obviously want to enhance your writing skills, know how to push people to your writing and where the writing is held. Using tools like Uber Suggest can help track progress with keywords, backlinks and other SEO. It also crawls for issues that are effecting your SEO. This could be useful to look into after you start (it is free too). However, like other suggest, you need everything else in a stable place firstly.

I've read the thread and I must say many people have said the right things. Outsourcing content is good but I wouldn't advise you use it for a long time as that will rob you of learning to write yourself. Remember, practice makes perfect.

I was a trained and published writer before coming to blogging. But literature is different from affiliate marketing. So, my pieces fell short. So, how did I overcome it?

First, I Googled "blogs + my niche". The results brought some of the best blogs in my niche and I began to read them. IfI wanted to do a piece on a particular subject, I will read several posts on it and that will give me several angles on the subject. I didn't hesitate to leave comments on those blog posts, which is also good for my blog getting backlinks.

The other technique is to Google "How to write blog posts" and "Templates for writing blog posts". You will find posts which will teach you how to do it. Know, that all those people writng great blog posts were at your stage at some time.

Finally, don't be in a hurry to write that great blog posts. If you do that, you will find yourself regretting some time later. Anytime I read some of my old blog posts, I get embarrassed. This shows me how far I have come. Everybody grows. But everybody needs time to grow properly. Give yourself time (meanwhile, buy posts) and you'd be glad you did.

    I do it like this:

    - I analyze concurets in my niche (volume of text, number of keywords, pictures, etc.)
    - I write task for the copywriter, and give him average values for the volume of texts and the number of words.
    - you can also use LSI words

If you understand the topic, then you can write the article yourself. Do not use too many keywords - no more than competitors.

By this point I like to assume that you've already done basic keyword research and have some rough ideas the possible article topics. And hopefully, you've already set up your site, if not, consider Jamell's advice use WordPress.

If you just launched your site, creating content from scratch on your own until you get to the level where Google will notice you might take ages.

At the beginning, you will need a 'bump' of articles, probably 20 - 50 to sent signals to Search engines.
I strongly suggest that you go with Monetize's advice and hire professional writers.

    Hope that helps.

If you are using wordpress then its really simple to create pages and blog. As you are new stick to the blogs. Also you can hire people but finding a good writer native or not doesn't matter is difficult, to be frank all this native writer is just marketing stuff to sell overpriced services. You just need good writer and that good writer could be anywhere. And if you want you hire someone to create the whole website if you are having difficulty with that. Problem will be when you turn into "I am not spending a dollar on this" and then wondering why affiliate marketing is not working for you.

While choosing the right keywords for your content, there are some important metrics to be put in place before you start writing. You must select low competition keywords for all your content and to do that:

    1. Make sure your Average search is more than 30
    2. Choose a Quoted Search Result (QSR) of 100 and below
    3. Make sure the SEO score isn't lower than 90/100
    4. Your Keyword Quality Indicator (KQI) must be GREAT

Furthermore, use keywords in the heading. Also, use keywords in the opening paragraph. Finally, write the rest of the content naturally bearing the keywords in mind.

Use Youtube... You don't need to write! Just talk about it... any keyword you want. Then embed your videos to your site and write short article that related to your talking in each video to give the main idea. And write the title using the keyword on your site page as well. That's it!
