  • To make it easy, just provide an external link from your content to authority website.
    If you write about SEO, it's a good idea to link to a website like Moz or Searchengineland, something like that.

      No, it is the opposite that is true.
      If MOZ links to you about SEO, they are saying you are a trusted authority on SEO in their book who has expertise on whatever topic the article linking to you is about or related one.

      You need to establish yourself as an authority.

      E = expertise
      A = authority
      T = trust

      Expertise, if you have it, your content will reflect it.

      Authority and trust you establish by getting people to mention you as a source of info on a topic.

      You can wait for them to find you. You can go to them and try to convince them to do it.

      If your content shows expertise, it will not be that hard. Still, it will require work.
