How long does it takes your search queries to start appearing in search console?

I made a website a few months back. I just uploaded 3 articles and within the first week, my search console started showing that it was ranking for more than a hundred QUERIES in the search results. However, the website lost everything after the google core update in May.

Now I made another website and uploaded some content but I can see nothing in the queries section of my search console even after several days have passed. I know it takes months for websites to rank but I was wondering how long does it take your/an average person's new website to start ranking for Any queries Anywhere in the search results. I know it's something very variable, but still, I want you to just share what you generally experience with your websites.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

There's no one size fits all answer to this question. Even if you start to rank it could easily appear today and be gone tomorrow. And this could be due to any number of factors.

Even SEO experts will tell you it's often an art as much as it is a skill. You might want to focus on continuing to add content and find some sites that will take your backlinks. Algorithm changes are only one factor. New competition could be another. And gray hat SEO tactics could be another still.

This is a roundabout way of saying 'you just never know.' If you can afford to hire a firm for your SEO than you might get ahead of the situation. But even that is not guaranteed.

Most of us just plug away at building an internet presence. Up one day and down the next. Join the club.

It depends on how competitive your niche and your keywords are

If you're just trying to rank for a unique brand name, you can pull this off very quickly

You don't even have to buy a links package from an SEO company. You can rank your stuff quickly through sub-reddits or medium
