How long does a goodle penalty lasts? Need advise regarding a domain name.

I have found a Great expired domain name with the following whois data https://prnt.sc/t7sutu .

The domain is around 10 years old. The domain seems to have some scraped content back in 2010 according to waybackmachien.

It has zero backlinks presently and also in the past according to majestic.

I was thinking wheter shall I buy it or not? Suppose if it has got a panlety back in 2012 or 2013, will I be carrying on that panelty even now?

The domain has ZERO backlinks, will onlt the domain age be of some benefit to me?

There is no penalty on the website if there are no backlinks. An expired domain has no content, so there can't be any content penalties associated with it, either.

If you like the domain name, go for it. Don't think that the age of it is going to help you any, though.

Doesn't an aged domain ranks more quickly than a brand new one? I have read at many places that google trust an older domain more than a newer one. Is that wrong?

This is a myth that has been perpetuated for more years than I have been in the website industry. There is merely correlative data that suggests that, which, as usual, a bunch of people jumped on as "fact". Most aged domains have backlinks, which is why they would naturally outrank a brand new domain. It has nothing to do with the actual age of the domain.

Google's John Mueller says an aged domain "helps nothing" - something Google has stated many times over the years.
