Hows it going folks, Fred here..

Ive been involved in Affiliate marketing since 2003. Did well for a few years with badly put together Dreamweaver sites, that were monitized with Adsense and CJ products..

Anyway did other things for a few years, then got into bad health but am recovering and going to have another go at making money online.

The info on how to do things has really improved with YouTube.. Back in the early 00s I learned from badly written ebooks that rarely made sense..

Anyway I have a good program to follow now, and lots of time on my hands.. So wish me luck earning a few dollars.. If I'm making a 1000 per month by Xmas ill be happy..

Cheers
Fred

  • Good luck, Fred! Sounds like an attainable goal with your skills.
You're reminding me of Perry Marshalls Adwords ebook from way back

    • Hey thanks guys, yeah I remember Perry Marshall vaguely.. I used to follow James Martell RIP, and Allan Gardyne of Associate Programs among others. Back in the day.. Biggest difference between now and then is that the instructions were mostly ebooks that time and its all video now.
  • Glad to hear you're recovering, and agree that your goal is attainable with a little elbow grease. Good luck!

  • Good Luck to you, Fred! Social media can be a double edge sword, but we're lucky for the easy learning capabilities with YouTube, aren't we?

    Take care,
    Ella
  • Hello!

I am sorry to hear about your health issues, none of us are getting any
younger. I agree that there is lots of good information at YouTube but
there is also quite a bit of useless information that just wastes people's
time. eBooks are still a thing but now they are available at Amazon.
Many of their Kindles are 99ยข or even free so I would urge you to get
up to date with current affiliate marketing and passive income trends.

  • The dynamics if marketing has shifted. The traditional marketing tactics of the early boom days are outdated These days you have to get in the trenches communicate with your audience and create native content. Native content enhances the experience for people it is not intrusive .
  • Best of luck to you Fred with your business and your health.

  • Sorry to hear about the health issues Fred. Glad you're on the mend. There are more more higher ticket affiliate products out the nowadays so takes fewer sales to earn decent. And using sites like Leadpages to easily create capture pages and 1 page bridge pages is sooo much easier than Dreamweaver! I think it's great that you can actually earn using just a Leadpages account for pages and an affiliate offer and an autoresponder. 1,2,3 and ready to go!
Perry Marshall, now there's a blast from the past.
  • What Niches are you passionate about? Did you ever find success in any of your previous ventures? What are you strong suit skills?
  • If you actually take the time to read the post. You would not of had to ask .
  • Welcome back to the internet marketing world :-)
..And thank god that I was still in school back in 2003 and had not to go through such ebooks like you to learn stuff haha
