Hello everyone. I hope this is where new forum users are supposed to be. I have a new website but don't want to rush into anything before I know more about this forum.

I'm here mostly to learn about Internet marketing. There's something specific I'd like to find out about but don't want to duplicate a question that might already be here. Let me look through the posts first and if I don't see someplace else where it's already been asked, I'll let you know.

Thank you Jeffery. I'm aware those links are there and that's part of the reason I'm being a little cautious about what I say since I'm new here. I wouldn't want to get kicked out for violating anything.

What type of website do you have? Ecommerce or a blog?

I think it's eCommerce but not entirely sure. I know it's not a blog

I'm hoping to get advice on the best way to promote my new website. I've tried Article Marketing but haven't had much success because everything I've tried to submit so far gets rejected. Is there a better way to promote? I've recently learned about LSI keywords but is there anything else I can do to get my site to rank higher in search results? If this question has already been answered, please steer me in the right direction.

Do you mean they were rejected from article directories like Ezine Articles? That practice is very old and is no longer recommended. Doing so can hurt your site's rankings.

If your site is new, you can write content on your own site and position them around long-tail keywords.

    https://ahrefs.com/blog/long-tail-keywords/

You'll have a realistic chance of ranking on the front page for long-tail keywords because the competition will be minimal compared to a head term. You'll also get relevant traffic to your site.

The next step I'd recommend is to get unique articles published on other blogs to earn backlinks and earn referral traffic. You can write these or pay someone to write them for you, but they need to be high-quality and something that the editor hasn't seen before.

Your site will live or die by the quality of your content. Good luck.
