Newbie question about my first B2B affiliate marketing adventure...

I have just begun my affiliate marketing journey and truly need some advice about my content creation.

There are several companies that I plan to work with after building traffic to my blog.

I currently have none.

In order to create traffic, I need to create quality content. (among other things)

A HUGE part of my content will be reviews and articles about the specific companies I want to partner with as an affiliate.

Is it okay for me to write articles about/including these future partners I would like to work with and then apply for their affiliate programs later?

Is it okay if I review multiple competitors in one blog?

By "is it okay..." I mean, will they work with me after I build a following?

Or is that a no no thing?

I just don't know how I will build content in these specific niches without any mention of a company.

Thank you for your time!

  • I want to make sure I understand your question... You want to write about companies and product reviews before you actually reach out and work with these guys?

Do you want to sell their products as an affiliate?

    • Yes, I do. I know it sounds a little backwards, but it makes total sense to me. My blog is going to be a review site with technical advice as well. It will go in depth on how to use the software/services that each of my partners have. I will also review each of the top brands/companies in my niche. I have no idea how to create any content without first writing about them.
