Growing a coupons/discounts website

I recently created a coupons/deals/discounts website, and i'm still struggling to see results, my website is full of content, but I wasn't paying attention to building backlinks.
It's been now 3 months since I'm working on it, and i'm getting around 30-35 visits from google each month.
Anyone who had an experience with this type of websites can tell us how was it ? and how long did it take for you to see results ?
