Which Personal Growth Sub, Sub Niche is the best?

Hello, friends!

My name is Solomon. I am super excited to discover this forum as I can sense there are great minds every where here. Thumps up to the organisers, the new and old members of this group.

I was actually sifting through the web before I stumbled upon this group.

So, here is what brought me and I hope to get what will help me make better decisions about the new venture I want to go into.

The thought to start blogging about personal growth has been the niche I want to go into. But I don't seem to know how to completely narrow it down to a sub, sub niche that will give me the leeway to leverage so as to grow the blog easily and become good at it.

Now, I would like you guys to help me to make better decisions about that.

What sub, sub niche in personal growth do you think is okay for someone who wants to talk about how he left bad habits and mastered his life?

I would like to monetize the blog in future through google Adsense.

Please help out. Thank y'all in advance.

Blogging is definitely a great way to get traffic and build a loyal following which can lead to sales and possibly Advertisement.

Sub niche for example in this case personal growth tips for senior citizens. You already know not to go broad so that it a good thing .When you do your research and find your sub niche you can use different headline formulas and methods to formulate content around the topic or keywords you are targeting. Value is important too.

Bad habits are in every aspect of life.
      Jobs, making money, entrepeneurship
losing weight, gaining muscle, staying fit, eating healthy
      relationships
      spirituality, religion.
      Hobbies
      education
choosing a niche for a blog and blogging

I do not know what interests you, so I''ll use amazon.com to give you an idea of one way to go about it
You go to amazon.com, click on a department (let's say, health and household), now click on a section of that department (say, men's grooming), now click on a product section (hair care), now click on a particular product (shampoo). You've narrowed it down pretty well already. Now, to really narrow down, you pick a twist: sensitive scalp, shampoo for beards, shampoo for man with no hair... Doesn't matter what. (You can do this with homedepot.com, webmd.com, warriorfroum.com any big site, really).

Than you go back to the main page, you look at best sellers... Anything there that interests you? (It tells you what's popular, what people want.)

You can do the same on ebay (look at sold, not for sale).

You can go to your closest book store and look at magazines. The assumption being that if someone's willing to spend money to produce them, there's a good enough number of people interested. You look at their pieces. The titles only... They'll give you an idea.

You can also look at the For Dummies book series. You pick a book, look at the chapters. The chapters are broken down into sections... Those are your niches... Here, too, it pays to find a twist.

So, Dummies has business guides, technology guides, health and home guides. In the last one, they have books on diabetes. One of them is Managing type 2 diabetes. It's got chapters and sub-chapters. But even if you only stick with the surface level promises (learn how to deal with depression caused by diabetes, how to change your diet), you're narrowing. It's best to go to a section of a section of a sub-chapter sometimes.

you are yourself your ideal customer and you are your ideal niche..

What I'm trying to say is don't focus so much at sub niches etc, you said that you have personal experiences.
this is what people want to read, how you made it happen, how you changed your own situation completely and how they can do the same
just get started, start blogging, report what happened to you and share it as much as possible with the world
    good luck

  • I know from personal experience that the most common option for successful personal growth is a blog. In modern conditions of the development of social networks, this is necessary, as well as the development of a personal brand in order to be recognized, to trust you, and therefore to buy your product.

I think the whole Wellness niche will be massive due to Covid (although it was growing before this).

I have autism and that's a big niche.

I'm not sure what niche this is but one of my many, many jobs was to work as a school teacher last year. There's a whole generation of people who have sat at home doing nothing during the pandemic. Kids are disengaged from school, men are disengaged from dating, and I've become disengaged from the whole of society.

love some of these recco's for niche selection. DABK's note could be its own email or YT video.

One source I'd add that has been mentioned before but imo bears repeating/exploring: Reddit. Greg Isenberg had an awesome post some months ago about using the "FIRE" niche (Financial Independence Retire Early) as an example of how to mine Reddit for business opportunity (and ultimately how to act on that opportunity. Here's that piece for anyone interested: https://latecheckout.substack.com/p/...-to-unbundling
