Keyword research and bidding

Hi, thanks for taking the time out of your day to read this.

I have some questions its driving me crazy, I have been creating my pages with amazing content really detailed specific. Let's use "bed bug treatment" as an example keyword. I only realised and understood what keyword difficulty ment today, sorry still learning. Bed bug treatment and bed bug control are the 2 main keywords that users will type in search query. Bed bug treatment had a difficulty score of 40 on ahrefs and requires approx 56 backlinks to rank in top ten SERP. My domain is only 6 months old its a new business. My question is as lets say my main keyword i bid for is bed bug treatment would i automatically rank for the search terms related to my keyword i.e bed bug treatment london or would I have to link build until I get into top 10 SERP for "bed bug treatment" once in top 10 would i now rank for all the related search terms. I hope I've made sense i think I've confused myself lol.

Let's say bed bug treatment london keyword required 10 backlinks to rank in top 10 if I drove 10 good links to my bed bug treatment page would I now rank for bed bug treatment london?

It is not just the number of links that matter but also where they are coming from.

A backlink from a page with no backlinks of its own carries little power, so it cannot pass a lot of power.

It seems like the first part of your question is talking about advertising and whether or not doing that will help you rank. No, it will not. Organic rankings are not influenced by the paid ads you place.

The second part is about how many links it takes. Tools just give you are rough idea and are not even close to being exact. It could take 2-3 great, high quality links from authority sites. It could take 30 from medium authority sites. Thousands from low quality sites will probably do nothing.

Bottom Line: Find the best sites you can that are relevant to your niche that already link to other sites, let them know of your superior content and ask for a link (if a site never links to other sites, you are almost definitely wasting your time). Write the type of content that they are already known to link out to. Get as many as you can. There is no exact number, no matter what a tool tells you.

Hello Johnny. I Hope you are fine and doing well.

After reading your comment, it seems like you haven't done keyword research properly. Keyword Research is an important part of SEO strategy. Without targeting the right keywords, you won't be able to rank in google.

After doing in-depth keyword research we get to know which keyword are easy to rank, less competitive, and highly profitable.
