I just landed a new marketing position and am coming from a different career field. The startup company has a list of about 450 emails going back about 3 years that they only send info out to once every few months (new camp/tutoring offers for kids). Based on what I'm reading in the forums this is a vital resource and I want to make the most of it. What mentality/approach should I be considering? I know I will have to find ways to rebuild trust and communication because customers have probably just been spammed the past few years.
I really want to use this opportunity to learn some solid fundamentals and provide value to these parents/customers and to this business.
