Duplicated content with credit What happens?

Hello community I hope you are very well.
I have the following query:
Can you feed a blog (for a fertility clinic website) by copying an article, pasting it, and of course giving credit?

I understand that you cannot upload duplicate content, because Google penalizes you. But I don't know what to do in this case, to copy, paste and give credit from the source.

What problems can I have? This practice would not help me at all with the positioning, right?

Thank you very much to all.

  • Your comment about 'duplicate content' is totally wrong. I don't know why that still gets passed around when there are so many explanation about it online.

NO - it's not ok to take the work other site owners have done - and use it to enrich yourself.

Giving 'credit' is not an excuse for theft - and most articles would be protected by copyright. Write your own content - or hire a writer to do it for you.

What could happen? Maybe nothing - maybe a polite note from the site owner telling you to remove the article - or a letter from an attorney that you are in violation of copyright - or having your site taken down....
