Hi everybody,

This is my first post on the Warrior Forum and I felt like it's sort of customary to introduce myself.

My name is Charles Stricklin, I currently live in San Antonio, Texas, and I'm a 60-year-old Navy veteran. My interests include history, genealogy, web development, iOS programming, and FPS games. I work from home as a corporate trainer in the BPO industry and love my job.

If I ever get off my a** and get going on it, I'm in the development stage of a podcast centered around Texas history. I won't give any more details partly because I am pretty certain that's against the rules of the forum, and also because all that's really been done is register the domain name and sketch out a plan of episodes. In other words, there's nothing to see at this point.

Anyway, I joined the forum because I've heard this is a great place to be able to reach out and contact people who might be able to answer my question about having swag on both the podcast and my personal web page. In other words, I'd like to create an eCommerce shop where people can buy my t-shirts and the order will be sent to someone who may screen-print a single t-shirt and drop ship it out to whoever bought it. I also want to source that through someone in the U.S., not overseas.

Anyway, I'll probably officially ask that question in an area other than a beginner's area, but I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you why I'm here. I'm looking forward to be able to converse with everybody.

    Hi Charles,

Check out Daxy Perez and his Podcast Success Secrets group on FB. I've been selling online since long before podcasts were a thing, and have seen and interviewed many so-called "podcast experts". Daxy is the one with the best results as far as I have found.

If you need recommendations on outsourced podcast editing & production, let me know... I have a few proven contacts as well.

The ecommerce/shirt printing stuff is easy to find.

Thanks, but I disagree a bit on finding shirt printers because I want assurances that it's done in the U.S. Everything I've seen leads me to believe they're printed in China or the Philippines or somewhere outside the U.S.

Nothing against those countries or anything, I just want to be able to boast that buying from my store goes toward keeping someone in the U.S. employed in this new Great Depression.

Welcome aboard, and thank you for your service! Think you have the right instinct about directing your ecommerce/t-shirt query to a dedicated thread. For some thought starters there, might be worth perusing this one on T-shirt copy: https://www.warriorforum.com/copywri...ments#comments

You might want to take a look at this thread posted below. It is older then the one posted above by Mathew. Kurt recommend printful being based in the US and Europe and Diablo recommended a t-shirt company out of Michigan.

    Welcome Charles,

I do not know to much about Tshirts, but thank you for your service. I too am a veteran and I was stationed at Ft Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX from 1991 to 1992 as an MP. If you need help connect with me and I will do the best I can to assist you.

In the mean time, best advice may be from DWolfe or Jason Kanigan since they both have been around since 2011 here in the forum.

Wishing you all the best my friend, you sound like you have amazing potential.
