How do I generate 2k+ per month?

A friend of mine did affiliate work and pulled in 12K per day. And I really want to learn how to do this.

How can I start off by making 2K a month or more?

Also, what do I start off doing?

For some that's a low price but I'm just starting out.

So why don't you start by asking your friend?

It's hard for anyone to advise you unless you give more details about your skills, experience, background etc. You call yourself a copywriter - is that your profession, or is it still an ambition? How does affiliate marketing fit in with that?

I did ask him, he has very limited time and can't help a lot.

I do copywriting, however, my clients are not high paying and I rarely get clients. Although my work is good.

I thought affiliate marketing may be easier to start with and hit my goal of 2K per month.

Affiliate marketing is only easier if you already have access to a market willing to buy what you're recommending. Otherwise, you'll need to spend money on promotion, spend time growing a following, or find offers that other marketers with existing customers might be interested in.

Offer to help him with his work. If you free up some of his time, he can give it to you, can't he?

To honestly get users to get to your site and then for you to get 2k or 12k per day. it requires the right audience coming to your site, then having the proper sales copy, then having the backend properly implemented so that you get paid.

i did a crypto affiliate network and then their business model didn't pay out, I got a few signups, but they somehow had too many knots in their email system.

If you want to increase your cashflow so to speak, then you should get into the social media arena because there are countless groups that allows you to promote those types of things. Using keyword rich usernames allows you to market yourself without having to actually look spammy, even though very good marketers and advertisers can see it for what it is, the point is for you to improve and increase your affiliate earnings.

    Magic.

For just about everyone on this forum, that's what it takes. Magic.

If you want to have a little more sense about it, you could learn that there are two pieces of making money: Traffic and Conversion. You need eyeballs on an offer, and a way of turning some of those visitors into buyers.

What I just said is apparently beyond 99% of the people here, which I obviously find a little frustrating. And perplexing. It's not a secret. It's not rocket science.

You want to make $2K/mo with affiliate offers?

You need to do some math.

    Oh, THERE it is.

The tiny bit of math. Too much?

Guess you can always go back to magic.

A certain number of people who visit the conversion tool for an offer decide to become buyers.

If the affiliate offer you're promoting is proven, ie. it's been around for awhile and made sales, then it'll have a higher conversion % than a new, unproven one.

But conversion is also a function of the quality of the people you're sending there. Traffic quality.

Confusing already? Magic is always sitting there waiting for you to believe in.

As an affiliate marketer, it is YOUR JOB to go out and get high quality traffic--that's people who are a fit for that offer--and bring them to that existing conversion tool--the sales letter or VSL that's up online by the seller.

I think even that is a mystery to most so-called "marketers".

You need a steady stream of traffic to send to that conversion tool.

As a newbie if you convert at 0.5% (half a percent) I'd find that surprising.

So that means you need 200 leads--200 HIGH QUALITY leads--to send to that sales page to have a chance in hell of making one sale.

And what are most so-called affiliate marketers sending per month? Like... 5? A dozen? And then crying that the offer "doesn't convert"? Give me a break.

    Ah, magic thinking.

Now as to the selection of the offer, and the importance of the sale price.

You picked an offer to promote that has a $20 sale price? Oh dear. That's... how many sales to get to $2000?

You can do that math, can't you? 100 sales.

Ha ha. Not a chance. 200 leads/sale X 100 sales = 20000 leads (!!!!!) this month to hit your goal??!

    Magic. I tell ya, magic.

All of you are beaten before you begin because you pick such lousy equations. And you don't even know it.

So you go upscale and pick a $2000 affiliate offer to promote. Now you're cookin' with gas.

One sale is all you need to make. Well, it's actually more than one, because you have a cost of customer acquisition, cost per lead y'know, but let's keep it simple for now.

Is the math you've picked supportive of the outcome you want? For nearly everyone, a resounding "NO".

Hey, good for you for asking about a specific money target. Really. Almost no one does even that.

So are you set up for success... or dismal failure with dependency on magic?

You need to have a following first, thats the key. Your mate must have a very big and eager following for him to be pulling those numbers.
So find a profitable niche, grow you audience and then sell them your stuff. Not as easy as i have made it but thats the gemeral pattern you need to follow.

      Herrrgh...

      1. "$12K per day": what does that mean? Per day, what? One day? Two days? In a row? The whole week? What number are we really talking about here? Right now we don't know.

      2. "need to have a big and eager following"... not necessarily. What's the sale price of the offer? Is it just one offer, or more? Are there upsells? How much is each customer worth, on average?

If there's a $50 front end offer, to qualify Out the riffraff and offset or even break even on ad spend, followed by a higher ticket main offer, you can get there with a small number of qualified customers.

We did this with an $18 free+shipping front end plus $197 invisible funnel next step course--that's where we broke even on traffic--leading to a $2K and later $5K main sale after we raised the price. Average customer value of over $200. Can get to $12K with 6 of the right customers with this funnel.

        - He said 12k Per day, which means that excatly. He is making 12 grand everyday. He he was making it a week or a month i would have expected the op to state that.
        - Classic Russell Brunson on point 2 but i do still believe you still need to have quite a big audience to pull those numbers. People paying 2k are probably nearer the backend of your funnels, so you still have some people buying your frond end and middle offers who are your following and eager buyers.

You also have those guys who signed up for your free ebook or report, they are also your following, they just have not pulled the trigger yet.

I am going to strongly disagree with this... as in I believe the exact opposite to be true. Lists are what create the overall failure in the industry... Lists are "MAGIC" and a greater opportunity to fail than succeed.

It doesnt matter if you are selling a report.. a diet pill... or a TV AD - OFFER - SALE.

The "AD" can be replaced with anything that generates traffic to the offer... Billboards, Newspaper Ads, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Posts or ads, Instagram Posts, TIK TOK, Twitch, whatever you feel comfortable doing.

Creating a "List" changes the whole dynamic... AD - OFFER - CONVERSION TO LIST - OFFER - MAIL SEQUENCE - BACK TO OFFER and maybe if your lucky a SALE somewhere in there. To many working parts for people that have no clue what they are doing.

The ONLY list I keep anymore is a buyer list... not worth the effort of doing the drip feed. If you cant sell them right off the bat.. the percentage of sales after that point only go down hill. UNLESS you know what you are doing.. and the absolute truth is the people that qualify for the UNLESS are few and far between.

Pick any major retail company... Walmart? anyone on their mailing list? How about your local grocery store? on their mailing list? Yes, these do have "AD's" as in once a week in the mail and maybe in the local newspaper... but who gets the newspaper anymore.. and who reads the ads that come in the mail? ( I could actually answer this question.. but the demographic this type of advertising reaches is not going to be anyone you would want to target with an online offer )

Back in the e-mail is new era.. oooh I got a piece of email and people got all excited. My primary e-mail account in todays world gets over 100 e-mails a day.. the world has changed... the market has changed.

Look at selling on platforms like eBay and Amazon... no lists, not to many repeat customers... THIS is what selling online is today... put people that are interested in what it is you are selling and make them an offer they can not refuse - it is literally that simple.

All this other stuff holds the better than average and below marketer up... The amount of work to send someone directly to an offer ( that actually converts ) vs sending them to a page that gets an e-mail address are one in the same - actually the work in creating a list is MORE than just selling the product.

      My opinion anyway

Two words - "Learn Internet Marketing" - wait that's three words.

Internet Marketing is an umbrella term - and affiliate marketing is one part of it, which falls under monetization.

If you're adept at Internet Marketing - grossing $2k a month is no big deal.

It takes a lot of reading, a lot of notetaking, a lot of painstaking trial and error to get a grip on it - even then your grip isn't as tight as it should be.

Start with learning how to build a site on WordPress. A proper decent looking site that invokes trust in the visitor's heart.

Learn about SILOs - about site structure, about keyword research, content planning.

Then learn about lead generation, sales funnels, lead funnels, list building.

Learn about tracking, A/B Split testing, understand metrics, try to comprehend how you can use the insights to save money and get more people to your site.

If you do well organically, you're already in the green - if not, learn about media buying, PPC and be ready to put in some of your own money in there.

It's not easy. It is like learning anything else. But if you follow it with a passion, you'll get there.

There's a ton of hard work involved.

Affiliate marketing takes a lot of hard work. Putting in the time and effort is essential. You need to build quality traffic streams that result in a decent percentage of conversions. Give your audience opportunities they are interested in and continue to work on building up traffic.

just find an high ticket offer that pays you >$1000 per sale and your life will be much easier.

You just need one or two sales per month to achieve your goal which is absolutely possible if you are promoting a proven offer/funnel.

    Good Luck :-)

To make money online, you have to present something online that is connected to the payment processor. Once you can do that one time, then it's just a numbers game from there.

Also, 2,000 dollars per month is not low, even to earn a dollar on the internet is a potential millionaire and or even a billionaire. The reason behind this is, when some being, man, woman, etc...can get a person to go a website and make a payment. That is the proven success sales funnel. Whether by luck or accident or whatever, it means you found a channel, you have found a portal. These little likes, comments, shares, followers, thumbs, replies, etc,etc,etc....activate different parts of the internet. Just to get a dollar online is impressive because look at the ratio to people who make money online and people who have a non-internet based business which they control the content and visitors who visit their offers.

To get your success, ya'll can simply blog about anything that is useful and has some words and images and videos. Then tell other people online until you feel or see a steady flow of visitors as well as conversions.

Respond to people throughout the internet and be helpful when you can. This way you don't have to find the sales, the sales will find you. It really does work that way when you have no experience.

You just go into places on the internet, read and respond accordingly and give a darn about what you type so the readers know its a real being and not a one-off comment or reply, etc.

That is how it actually works everywhere. When i was building one of my offline/ slash online business, mostly offline, i realized if I could do everything for my client (even showing up with a dog bone for the dog that was always was barking, she loved it)...then I do everything i can possible do to win them over....It is part of being a good person and not caring if people hate it or love it...its called just being in alignment with what you know and what other people are asking. The extra miler goes beyond what is required to show the client they care.

All of my clients have been people who wanted to have a nice presence online and have had families and friends checking out the website and loving it.

When people ask online and respond online, it is so much better than having to talk to people offline NOT ALL THE TIME (duh.. : ) but having a chance to explain a question allows both the answerer and the questioner to be able to actually digest the responses.

Think about it...if you asked how to make 12k per day and we responded:
start an internet business. and never explained...how often would you show up in these networks? Probably stop the same day or same week. I have been known to having a bad experience on a highly trafficked website property and then just deleted the account. I know the numbers and people get and give where and when they can. If they want a real response, they will find it. It is how it works. Give an answer to peoples seriously needing answers. This way you can be the one receiving the 12k per day or something better.

The numbers are difficult some times but not all the time when you are asking for 2k or 12k + per day...but it is 100% doable. You can add so much value in your responses to questions you really do know about. People all over the world will eventually read who wrote it, who asked it, then their do their own research....but the best responders online will be the best customer service agents and business owners and those who get those positions to bring the best face to their company's presence.
    • You can sell other people's ebooks from a blog and blog everyday.
    • Comment and reply to other people everyday.
    • Create comments and replies that make people think or make them happy, etc
    • Online visitors will eventually like to know more if it helps them or you give them a reason to learn more from the initial moment you had their attention.
    • Because that is how it works.

Value = Web Visitors = Eyeballs = Clicks = Success

Hey, affiliate marketing is the simplest business as you don't have to own your own products, deal with the customer experience, and so forth. Though 2k is a big milestone to achieve, going by your username I'm going to assume that you're a copywriter; if this is the case then you have an unfair advantage already.

Where to start? Find products that you want to promote to your intended audience, which by the way, you have to figure out who that is. Provide tons of value to your tribe and solve their pains by recommending to them products and opportunities that you know will benefit them.

A blog and a YouTube channel are going to be your biggest assets going forward, not to mention an email list. I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck!

You've eventually figure out that you'll want to create your own product. Especially if you have a sales funnel that gets you affiliate conversions.

Every long term success from the Franks to Schultz to other thousand and one super affiliates....they figure out a sales funnel which is profitable, then create their own product.

If you have the budget and time to create a sales funnel which brings you success, then focus on creating your own product.
