Hi there I have been doing fiverr freelancing for past 3 years as well as affiliate marketing and also wealthy Affiliates . For fiverr my earnings is just 200+ Wealthy Affiliates none. And I have always been struggling with web traffic SEO and others. Would any kind souls here teach me how to build a good passive income stream in 2021? I also have been conned by quite a lot by the gurus they said Pay a sum of money then get some kind of software or tools and coaching But it dont work out well.

Do Advice thanks all in advance.

If you are paying monthly for a 'program' - and not making ANY money - why are you still in that membership program???

I'm not convinced anyone can teach you. You've been a member for 6 years or so - started three threads all asking for 'help me make make an income. 2 in 2014 - and this one.

Then you are gone - no detailed questions - no comments on the hundreds of threads here that could help you....no one can give you a 'business in a post'.

There are threads here than can help you - but you have to help yourself by reading posts and using the forum search to find specific information.

  • You failed because you are an opportunity seeker. It's why almost everyone fails. It's why you were easily conned.

Most people are in the prostitution business, using a marketing (I use that term loosely here) style set up to get quick wins; one night stands, without any thought for what happens later.

When you decide to stop playing the field, and want to find the one person (Single Target) to settle down with, you don't go to a dive bar or a street corner to find that person.

You don't set up a date just so you can have sex at the end of the night. You don't seduce them by telling them you are a fighter pilot, and you don't propose to them without laying the groundwork first.

A business is like a relationship, made up of 4-parts that must ALL work together in harmony; each part making the next one easier.

First, you IDENTIFY who you want to go on a date with. Second, you ATTRACT that person in a way that doesn't paint you as a sleazy pick up artist. Third, you SEDUCE that person in a way that makes them want a second or third date with you. And fourth, you PROPOSE.

    1. Identify
    2. Attract
    3. Seduce
    4. Propose

The last part (propose - selling) should be the easiest.

For hype merchants and opp seekers it is the hardest part because everything they do is set up for sex, not for a relationship. So the best a hype merchant/op seeker can hope for is to make sales of low priced products to prostitutes (freebie seekers - price shoppers - dopamine addicts - children with umbilical chord in hand).

The opp seekers tools of choice are countdown timers, fake scarcity, false promises, discounts, hype, gimmicks, price shoppers, freebie seekers. and blind squeeze pages.

All set up for the purpose of a one night stand.

The opp seeker doesn't care about damaging 'trust' because they are not in the business of building relationships. They build their business around one night stands. Get the sale now. Forget about later.

It's a model that works well for frauds and cheats. It also works well for solo ad sellers and JVzoo vendors with affiliates. Because neither cares about trust or relationships. The solo ad seller makes money from freebie seekers, and the JVzoo vendor makes money from people who buy solo ads to promote JVzoo products.

I'm not saying all opp seekers and hype merchants are frauds. I'm saying all frauds are hype merchants.

Be careful who you associate with. Be careful what style of marketing you use. And understand that if you follow hype merchants, you are essentially adopting a model that prioritizes not for the customer, but for yourself.

It's practically built right into the model.

Misleading a prostitute bares no consequence because you aren't thinking about 'later', but in a relationship, when yo lie, you hurt both you and your partner. You just wouldn't do it. In fact, in a relationship, you would make sure everything you do is done with having your partners best interests at heart.

That's how you need to approach your business. Always thinking of how you can add value to people's lives. And you should always be thinking of "before affects after" and asking whether or not 'this' action I take now makes it harder, or easier to keep attention later.

If the bathroom is filthy, do you order from the menu?

Opportunity seekers and hype merchants are in the business of charging $1 for the bathroom with no intention of getting many orders from the kitchen. They need a lot of people to use the bathroom if they are to make a living.

The smart person prioritizes for getting orders from the kitchen. The bathroom is sparkling. It's free. And it doesn't, in any way, compromise the chances of getting that order from the kitchen.

Treat your business like you would treat a relationship. And make sure each part NEVER compromises the next part.

Identify a specific person you want to do business with.
Attract them in a way that doesn't paint you as a sleazy pick up artist.
Seduce them with value. Real value.
Propose. Easiest part of all if the other 3 parts did their job.

Marketing is not difficult. The problem is that most people who call themselves marketers, are actually salespeople.

The aim of marketing is to make selling easier - Peter Drucker

Someone gives you great advice. But instead you comment on the simple almost useless one liner. Go back and read all the posts above, let it sink in and forget about Udemy. If not you will be asking again or you will fail and simply go away.

Direct action and intention breeds results. Sounds like you need to increase your productivity. The more you learn and apply the more you will earn because society you based on what you produce.

People want passive income but don't have the patience or desires to go through the process to achieve the end goal.

My suggestion is that you get actively involved across social platforms. This has to be done right .Start building awareness by sharing your thoughts and expertise to gain trust of the people in the market .

To achieve the goal which is generate passive income you must enrich others with value because value and good experiences is what people buy into.

Show up consistently and demonstrate that you have the solutions people need .Your goal is to generate passive income so you should figure out unique selling points to go along with the value so you can achieve your goal.

Definitely play to your strengths. I've done all kinds of online money making things but this year I am sticking to my core strength and coding useful websites.

I did have quite a good start at writing KDP stuff a year ago, but it's a pretty saturated market and you need to be extraordinarily good at what you do to make the bigtime there.

I can totally relate to the "pay for traffic" that a lot of people talk you into buying and not getting the results. Not saying that paid traffic doesn't work, but my opinion is that organic traffic has the best conversion rates and most importantly it is FREE! I have found that by sharing my story and my personal experience about a product, I get better results with potential customers and prospects. I have a social media group that I always invite potential customers to so they can read testimonies from actual customers that use the products. This is way more powerful than an ad talking about a product. People are more likely to listen to people that use the products and not by people selling the products. You should also be using the product and sharing your personal experience on your personal social media. And by this, I don't mean talking about the product constantly over and over but by creating a curiosity post such as, "I can't believe that this one change in my daily routine would make such a big difference in my life". People will wonder what you are doing that is making such a difference in your life. They will reach out to you generating themselves as a lead for you. Once your the potential customer has shown interest in the benefits of the products and or the success stories from the social media group page, then suggest that he/she buy some products.
Good luck to your journey! Hope this has helped.

    Hi DJ

What Fiverr freelancing do you do? What would you say is your strength? There are many options for passive income, but none are easy or will happen over night (unless you buy an established business, even these aren't without hiccups).

    You could look at:
    Affiliate marketing
    Blogs
Selling info products (e.g. on Gumroad)
