I've been lurking on this forum for over 10 years...but my 'score' is still low.

Hiya,

I have a, 'members-area' which I've developed (in the weight loss niche), and would like to post this in the 'joint ventures' area.

My score must be still low, as I am unable to do that.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

The JV section is now part of the forum's War Room, so you'll need to be a WR member - and meet the JV requirements - to post there.

As a general point, you'll have a better chance of attracting partners with a tightly-focused offer - I don't know what yours is like, but weight loss isn't a "niche". It would also help to start with a product or service for which you can demonstrate strong and consistent conversions.

Frank, curious to know what you think a "tightly-focused offer" in weight loss would be.

Weight loss covers a wide range of sub categories including lifestyle, self-help, fitness and health, diet and nutrition - that's what makes it such a huge marketplace.

And people want to lose weight for a whole variety of reasons. Their motivations will be different. You think it might be a little easier to target an offer - and to reach - say, brides-to-be who want to shed a few pounds before their wedding, than trying to come up with some generic pitch in the hope of appealing to every passing lardie?

I gotcha. I am not looking at the weight loss category, I am looking at others like Real Estate and tech, so I was just trying to get a sense of what you meant.

So for Real Estate, maybe the niches would be more in line with:
          -Investors looking to own duplexes
-Newlyweds looking for their first house
-Renters looking to buy their first house
          Is that a good comparison?

Yep, you're getting there. As well as maybe filtering for types of property and specific locations, price bands etc., depending on the scope of your business.

It seems that Warrior forum values users posting, which may result in a higher score rather than lurking.

Also, I'd disagree and say that weight-loss is a specific enough niche. If you have a website with some SEO rankings thats already providing some sort of value

      Thanks for your responses...

Out of interest, it takes me straight to the paypal page...how do I get the trial?

(And for the other replies, all I've done is to write 11 reports, covering the main 'red flags' of weight loss, in a free membership area. That's all. There's no payment;-)

Traffic to WF must be way down. I used to get a lot of referral traffic from here. Now it's barely worth posting. Reddit is the place to be.

Weight loss is a good niche though, especially if you have something you can promote as an affiliate offer.

Same can be said about just any forum these days.
