To narrow it down, you could identify your competitor's websites and determine how you want to differentiate your store from theirs.

I believe this is doable, it will be tricky generating organic traffic without content to support the listings (but if you plan to use paid traffic it isn't an issue).

There are many templates themes you can use, you need to decide on a platform e.g. Wordpress before you decide on a theme.
