How to be an international community manager?

In my country I have managed the social networks of a few businesses, the biggest I would say was a law firm for which I create content. I was wondering if there are people in developed countries like the United States or Europe who to hire cheap labor hire people from other countries to manage their business social networks from a distance. Anyone know anything about this topic?

I have heard that there are web pages dedicated to this.

Hi there. Welcome to the forum. Yes, this is definitely done. Lots of people offer their services on Fiverr or Upwork and are hired. You would have to have excellent English.

Yes, there are many groups for this kind of thing especially on Facebook. Virtual Assistants are popular for this kind of tasks. FB group owners use them as managers, often from the Philippines as the cost of living is so much lower there than in the US.

Search for groups with titles like "virtual assistant jobs" "virtual assistant remote jobs" to post your availability in. Mention you are looking for community management or moderator roles. An individual named Cody Denis Lardizabal is someone I've seen for a long time helping owners of 15K-member groups... I think they run a VA business. Could be a good person to start with on FB.

Also consider looking for groups whose members hire these kinds of assistants. Eg. coaches. Join, explain your situation, and ask for who is looking for a moderator. Do not spam and do not message people who have not asked for your information. If you do, you'll probably get banned quickly.
