You should always follow the policies of the companies that
you are linking between. If it is a lander between Facebook
and an affiliate offer, for example, you must follow Facebook
rules as well as your affiliate network's. If it is an Amazon
Associates site, you should have a cookie notice, privacy
policy, about us and an affiliate disclaimer.

Try to put as much useful information on your websites
as possible in order to avoid having any problems and to
ensure that you get paid. Having this information on your
sites also provides a more professional experience for your
visitors, it gives them confidence that they are dealing with
a real business, it builds trust and that will make them more
likely to engage with your site, to signup and to buy.

This is a very broad question, and I have a very broad answer...

This depends on the traffic source and their rules:
FB ads, your account will be soon gone if you don't include those links.
Solo ads, those links are the least important thing.

It also depends on what is the goal of your landing page.

Why don't you put the links on the footer? It's out of the way but still visible.

why wouldn't you want to link it in the footer? It wouldn't do you any harm. If you do have a reason, then like the rest suggested, it depends on what you're offering on your landing page and the traffic source.

Well, this question can have various answers and every individual may have a different vision and approach to this. The one factor that plays an important role in this is what is the type of business you have and what is your sole purpose, e.g. if you are capturing data of people who visit your website then it is a legal duty to include a link to a Privacy Policy page. By doing this the users can decide they want to share the details with you or not and proceed further.

If your website has a landing page for marketing purposes, or if you capture data from people who visit your site, then you are legally required to post a Privacy Policy on your page. Because the Privacy Policy explains to visitors what information they share with you, and what happens to it.

No, It is not necessary to include links to your privacy policy & T&C on your landing page. The privacy policy page is used to inform your website visitors of just how protected their personal information & providing details of your company views & procedures on the information collected from visitors. The privacy policy is a statement or a legal document that states the website's collection or process.

  • If you are trying to sell a tech product/service that captures user data in one way or another, it is vital to add a Privacy Policy Page and link it. Go with using the footer of your homepage/landing page as most companies do.
