Lost My Job (Again!) - Need to Monetize my MMO Sites, But How?

Yeah I lost my job again. I hate working for other people anyway .

However, I do have a number of sites in the MMO niche and want to achieve a full time income from them. I have traffic (a LOT of it) which is something to be thankful for, but I don't think I am achieving my full potential.

Anyway, I would appreciate some tips on how to monetize my sites. Incidentally I already have AdSense/Ezoic (although I killed off Ezoic when their support went AWOL).

The current state of play:
  • I have made a list of tips in each sub-niche that I could giveaway either as an eBook or record as a series of YouTube videos.
  • I did start collecting emails and have a ~1000 subscriber list, but I very rarely send out emails. Incidentally this is without having any obvious magnets/popups etc.
  • I have joined a Clickfunnels clone but I've not done anything in it yet. I could also code my own funnel.
  • I've added a load of ClickBank offers to my sites just to see which ones convert, but I can't help feeling there's better stuff to promote out there (e.g. ClickBank has very little stuff in the marketplace related to blogging).
  • I do actually have 3 SEO tool software products but I'm terrible at marketing and only sold 1 copy last month! This niche is super saturated too.
So what do I do next? Let me know your thoughts!

Sorry to hear you lost your Job. You may want to look into a company called Hooligan. Rosario1990 has a thread running in the Path Section. He posted yesterday he collect over $9.000 from them. Somewhere else in the thread he gives a little more information about the company.

Here is the link to the thread. - https://www.warriorforum.com/warrior...s-quizzes.html

I'm a little confused. You started a thread in the Warrior Path section in March of this year. Your goal was to reach an income of $2000 per month by September 2021, which you said would be enough for you to live on (you called this a full-time income).

These quotes are from your latest post in that thread (August 7th):

July's online income was $1288 and I received another $772 in investment income
My investment income is likely to soar in the next couple of months because in 8 out of the 12 months I receive big quarterly payments from big holdings in 7% yielders
I was fired from my day job but WHO CARES because I have funnels to build!
    So what gives?

Starting tomorrow morning, or even tonight, develop a
working plan and get busy generating income.

If that means getting a virtual job, then that's what you
    need to do.

You can't sit there waiting for a miracle.

Join the freelance sites and I mean join ALL of them,
don't just signup to one and complain that nobody
    is hiring you.

Offer as many services as you can.

Do you have an autoresponder? If not, get one, load
it up with emails and start sending those. It is pointless
to have a list that you aren't engaged with.

    Grow your list.

You can build your own funnels and use Clickfunnels
clones and that's great but the main reason for using
Clickfunnels is to earn affiliate commissions.

Always think of ways to make more money.

If you have any make money online, passive income
or side hustle books laying around, now is the time
    to read them.

There are dozens of ways to make money online,
keep working at it and you will be fine.

    My advice...

take ONE product or service (only one, no more).

Come up with the best new idea behind it to promote it. By new, I mean something nobody has heard of before. Yes, it takes some thinking...

Offer ONE benefit (only one, no more).

Offer one price (only one, no more)...

    and sell it.

Stop looking at all the BS about funnels that go up and down and sideways and in between and around and...

stop trying to be everything to everyone.

Stop trying to conquer the world with the next Amazon.

One product, one offer, one price...simple and effective.

Plus, in the meantime, you may need to work at a real job until this plan takes off

You give great advice but funnels are not BS.

A lot of things can turn people into millionaires...but it doesn't mean it's what you need to worry about when you've lost your job and you're trying to make money.

The whole funnel thing is nonsense. It was a money making thing that took off and now it's fading away almost just as quick.

Stick to the basics and you'll get wealthy.

When you shop online at a major retailer that's made billions, do you go through a whole nonsensical funnel thing? No...you don't. You buy your stuff and you're happy. Yes, you may be asked to do an upsell...but that's marketing...

the whole funnel nonsense is ridiculous and nonsensical

@ Monetize - looking back at your comment, we may be somewhat in agreement.

Most of my perspectives are from a business stand point...not from a "let's sell another course on the internet" perspective.

Now, I have no problem (in fact, I recommend it) with a business having a landing page that collects info. Whether it's a landing page or a splash page, etc.

The problem I have (and maybe we get different ads on Facebook, etc.) is with all this nonsense about these humongous funnels that drag on for something like 8 plus pages.

So, if by funnel we're talking a landing page...then a sell page...then an upsell on the same page, yes, I can agree with that...

    @max5ty

I am not going to debate the validity of funnels.
I do not come here to promote anything, people
can take my advice or not, it does not make me
    any difference.

I was simply making the point to the OP that
if he's going to use funnels, market funnels,
or setup funnels (or anything) that he should
figure out a way to earn commissions from it.

You might be referring to OTO (one time offers)
or upsells, and I agree that some of those are
awful, but when you visit any major retailer's
website and they ask for your email address,
    that's a simple sales funnel.

If funnels are on the decline, I am fairly certain
that there are a couple of (zillion) dollars to be
    made before they are gone.
