Need help to pick one out of these 6 Niches...

Im going to fill in between some lines here based on what you posted and whats visible. You live in Switzarland, but your heritage is Vietnamese?

ok so you very nicely gave some options and left notes giving an idea of knowledge on each ( which is extremely helpful ) I would suggest maybe combining at least 2 of these if not 3.

#1, and #5 probably very seamlessly go together. Anytime you can pair hard goods with something like food, its generally a good start. So things like Woks and cleavers and kitchen scissors, bamboo steamers and mortar and pestles go hand in hand with Vietnamese food. - Think the things you have in your own kitchen

As bizarre as this sounds go watch / listen to the Song "Englishman In New York" by Sting. I am again assuming you might find the song relative. Cooking Far East food in the Western World has its challenges - Your traditions maybe a challenge.

And with that we enter into #1, #4, and #5. Personal development for a person in a distant land is a whole other ball game of sorts - Food is a big part in personal development - I would suggest what you eat, defines who you are. food is an integral part in learning a culture. And again with food comes the tools used to prepare said food.

I would start a blog about YOU right? The cultural changes... the Cultural foods, and the tools in your kitchen that make all of this. Throw in a dash of self improvement into the mix and you are on to something

basically share your path through food.

I would avoid niches that can make people angry. For example, you don't want to give bad advice by mistake on the pet niche.

Food recipes and personal development are too competitive. I would suggest them if you are passionate about these niches and already know many things.

Kitchen Equipment sounds better than the other two options. You can write reviews, best-of lists, and other relevant posts. It is a good option if the competition is not heavy.

I know that Food Recipe Blogs are competitive. I just hoped that niching down, like focus on a specific region would be less competitive. Based on my first round research, that seems to be the case.

Yes I feel like the Kitchen Appliance site would be the simplest to build out of all the remaining niches.

I'm curious about where the traffic figures come from. There is no software out there that I know of (including Ahrefs) that can tell you the number of visitors a competitors' website is getting.

The numbers are actually from Ahrefs. I know they aren't 100% accurate. But the course that I'm following recommends the tool.

That's fine, but, in fact, they are zero percent accurate. Ahrefs has no clue in the world what the traffic is for any website out there, let alone the numbers for any given keyword phrase. I can only surmise that they are making an estimate based upon the number of searches Google estimates for any given keyword and then are extrapolating that and applying a best guess for traffic based upon their search engine position.

Do a search for click percentage based on search engine position and you'll get 10 different estimates for every ten different search results you click on. Unfortunately, nobody really knows except the search engines and it is different for every keyword.

Wow that's good to know. And Ahrefs is expensive too! But I still feel it's useful, as it makes KW research easier. I'm just not going to trust the numbers as much.

Yes, it definitely is helpful and a great research tool. The site-specific search numbers is the only thing I object to.

I like the analyses that you performed on all these niches, it looks quite impressive, and the way that you highlighted pros and cons for different niches can really be useful to a lot of people here, and as I see you are so dedicated to this, I think you will be successful no matter which niche you choose.

From which you have written, I would maybe suggest that you first try with Pet niche and Kitchen equipment one as here you mentioned a lot of different benefits, and only cons is that you lack experiences in the, but that can easily be overcomed with putting a bit more efforts into researching and educating yourself about these themes. They aren't so saturated and I think they will allow you to start making profit more quickly. The personal development related one is also interesting and trending, but I think it's currently oversaturated. Maybe you can try with two different niches and compare results you are getting so that later you can stick only to one.

The only word of caution I would offer on both the pets and kitchen appliances niches is to make sure that you are selling something that someone cannot buy at a local big retail chain. If the local Walmart or PetSmart has very little variety, that's fine but internet stores that sell exactly the same lineup that people can find locally do not tend to do well.

I now feel like the kitchen appliance is my best bet.

The pet niche seems cool, but I really don't have any knowledge or experience with that type of pet yet. I also don't plan on owning them.

I like your suggestion about trying out two niches and see which sticks.

I heard Income School on youtube recommending that as well. Just depends on my time, I guess.

You've gotten some good feedback from successful people, and it is great you ask.

But I have to go back to something you bring up: "the criteria of an AFFILIATE MARKETING COURSE (you) are following".

Why? What is it about this course that gives you confidence this is the way to go about it? What do you like about the course, why are you so commited to following its criteria?

Most of your CONS are either a lack of credibility, or competitive. Now savidge4 has given a newbie template before to overcome these two things, which is:

DOCUMENT YOUR JOURNEY. For whatever you choose to do, you keep a journal, blog or some public display of what you are attempting and let time build your content and allow others who wish to take that journey, ride along with you.

Now, I may be way wrong about this, but it seems you have done a lot of external research looking for niches, but have you given yourself an internal look as to what you like/love to do, where you spend your time, and what you want from all this effort?

You just might find you already possess experiences which can aid you in choosing a better effort, rather than following someone's criteria.

Every course in AFFILIATE marketing says the same thing. Niche, offfers, commissions, rinse and repeat.

Be a niche of one, and let the world follow your journey and a year from now, you may actually achieve something worthwhile.

Again, I could be totally wrong.

Howevah, frogs an' cannabis remind us of the need to be niche-orientatered.

Niche food & niche personal development both tap the genrl wish for healthy eats an' self-advancement.

Actschwlly they complement each othah.

Food is a tangible asset, PD has all kindsa valyoo-added stuffs gowin' on.

So might healthy & tasty food be a conduit to personal development tips & secrets?

It is a seamless narrative.

(Like cannabis an' frogs jus' kinda ain't. "I wuz so desprit to get high, I accidentally smoked The Kermster.")

An' like Savidge says, tasty food an' kitchen accessories gaht a real obvious affinity.

So you could add that in later.

What I would wish to point out here is the potential for winnin' combinations.

Food blahgs?

Personal development strategies?

Equal zillions -- speshly if'n Tony Robbins is involved, dowin' with his face what Arnie does with his biceps.

Blend the two togethah, you gaht a noo thing, sumthin' mebbe ain't been seen before.

I work on a personal development site. Best thing about this kind of site is you can sell anything on it.
So my suggestion will be "4. Personal Development Niche (Mindset-related topics like self-confidence, self-esteem, self-improvement etc)".
