Why are my pages not being indexed? Have a couple questions.

Hi all. I started a new site (bare with me, I am new ha).... about 2 weeks ago. I have written a bunch of articles, but none of them show up on google.

One of them, I spent a lot of time spreading around reddit (one of them got pinned to the front page of the sub, and had 900+ upvotes!), and forums, etc.

But, the page is still not indexed. What am I doing wrong?

Can I post my link here so people can have a look, see what I am doing wrong?

    You have a 2 week old site - is the site itelf indexed? Posting your article was good - was there a link back to your site in it?

      Hi Kay King. Ok understood.

      Yea, I believe it is indexed. When I google the url, the site comes up on search, but no pages. Just the main page.

      I checked with a backlink checker, and there is a ton of apparent backlinks, but all from Niter/REddit stuff... but there is a lot of them.

      But the actual article is not indexed. Even when I search the exact title of the article with the URL lol nothing.

      Are there any free tools that I can check if a page is indexed, or a decent free backlink checker?

      Also, what other things can I do to get it indexed, and more backlinks? Willing to learn here, thanks so much everyone

    If your site is Wordpress did you install a XML sitemap plugin

    Use Google Search Console and check your URL in the "URL Inspection"
    https://search.google.com/search-console/about

    If your pages are not indexed yet, request Google to index them.
