How "new" is your blog - how much is 'a lot of content' - and what have you done to advertise/promote the site?

    There are many ways:
    Do on-page SEO
    Do off-page SEO
Create social media accounts and be active there (post, reply to posts, that kind of thing... but not spamming, be fun, funny, useful).
    Buy ads on social media
    Buy ads on Google's Adwords
    Buy ads on Bing
    Buy ads in newspapers
    Buy ads on TV
    Buy ads on radio
Partner with people who have blogs that complement/relate to yours (either buy ads on their sites or post on their sites... depending on execution and number of visitors they have, that may help or be a waste of time).
Create skyscraper-type of content (look up www.backlinko.com on Skyscraper Technique).
    Hire an SEO company
Hire someone to do social media marketing for you
Pay some influencer(s) to mention your blog on their blog or podcast
Do something interesting/important/amazing, so that national papers/TV news shows dedicate space to you
Look up HARO (help a reporter... they're looking for people to provide them answers... in exchange they name you in their article)
    Sponsor some worthy cause...

I ran our of ideas. Pick one and implement (well) and you're good to go.

    To improve your site :
The main point is doing ON page activities like checking title and meta descriptions should be relevant to your website and the content should be fresh, informational, and attractive, and fix all the bugs.
Website Domain Authority, Page Authority should be high and check spam score is in low values
Do OFF page activities like promotions, backlinks building, etc.

    You got a HUGE content
Firstly, you need to build you internal linking, and then do the backlinking with high PR or DR website page. Use anchor link / contextual backlink.
Then, find your local blogging / news / guset post / local citation website, and submit your URL and contents

Please click on your 'forum name' in the black toolbar above - and then from the dropdown click on 'view classic'.

Using 'classic' mode will help you participate and allow you to Quote comments and post answers without multiple posts where it's not clear who you are responding to.

There are a few things you can do to improve your site's performance. Make sure your website is well-organized and easy to navigate.

Cut the number of HTTP requests your site makes.
Use compression techniques to reduce the size of your website files.
Use caching mechanisms to improve the speed of your website.
Use browser plug-ins that help reduce page load times.

sometimes, it is not the quantity of the content but the quality, and how useful they are, does your content show coherency? Does it solve a problem?
if you have 60 posts of 500 words each, then you actually will have a lot of trouble promoting and driving traffic to it.

If you use Yoast SEO for example, they have what is called Corner piece content or something like that, but it simply means that you will have to devote some resources to creating content that goes deep into a topic so that when search engines crawl it, they will have reason to show up your page.

there are a lot more things to do as shown in the comments of others here, just put in your strategic best

You can participate on forums in whatever niche you're in. You can search Google for forums in your niche or use a site like Feedspot. You can also reach out to blog owners and see if you can do any guest blog posting. This is a great opportunity to reach alot of people for free, and also give the blog owner some high quality content that they didn't have to write themselves.

When I first start a blog, I focus on content for the first year.

    Just write.

Write more than you pay attention to your stats. It's going to take a while.

25 years ago, getting traffic on your blog wasn't that hard. Nowadays, the internet is way bigger and every niche out there is well oversaturated. All of them. So, its harder to do these days.

Try to incorporate social into your content creation, especially short videos, people really like those. Our attention spans are shrinking!

When I blog, I write the next article to be better than the last. I challenge myself. I work on consistency. I try to write every day.

The first year is great for bettering your skills. It'll let you know in the end if you want to keep blogging.

Best of luck. Keep it up. It worked out if you keep at it.

Well there's a lot to consider when it comes to website performance technically, it is not just the AMP, but there are indexing, make sure you have a website rich in content, try indexing your website and do internal linking so google will recognize it faster but also make sure you have place the meta data needed to optimize your site.

Traffic building is a slow process though. Have an eye on the freshness of your content. Traffic will come. It is said that traffic starts coming after 6 months from the date you launch your website. Do the necessary SEO work simultaneously.

I suggest you to first check what the difference is between the popularity of your several blogs and see if it is significant enough. For this compare the top 2 ones, then the 2nd to the 3rd etc.

To decide if the difference is big enough between 2 views, the bigger number should be bigger than N/2 + SQRT(N) where N is the sum of their total views. If so then the chance for random effects is low enough.

For example, if you have 2 blogs where one has a view of 100, and the other one has 180, then N = 100 + 180 = 280
    280 / 2 + SQRT(280) = 156.7332,,,
And since the bigger one of 180 is bigger than 156.7, this means that there is some real effect for the difference. It doesn't come just from randomness (chance is low enough).

If you see a significant one, then you can think about it and filter what could have made that one more popular. And you might want to "copy" its properties and themes.

Then if you have $$$ then buy some ads from Google and other social media.

One tip is to create evergreen content.

Evergreen content is content that will continue to be relevant into the foreseeable future. Evergreen content has virtually no expiration date and ideally will retain its value over the long-term. Anything written about a specific event for example, is not evergreen content because it will become obsolete six months from now and many keywords associated with that topic will end up never being searched again.

Evergreen posts will continue to accumulate traffic and links over time. Here are some common evergreen formats you might consider in generating lasting content:

    Lists
    Top Tips
    Instructional "How To" Tutorials
    Encyclopedia-esque Entries
    Product Reviews
    Videos

Writing in these formats doesn't automatically make your piece evergreen, but these structures tend to work well with evergreen writing. Of course, it's important that you address evergreen topics that are relevant to your business.

Are you optimising each blog post for a keyword or keywords that people are searching for?

Is the content high enough quality?

Are you doing internal linking between pages (or posts) with targeted anchor link text?

Is the page optimised (i.e. passing Google Core Web Vitals)?

Are you building a social following to cross-promote the blog?

I could ask these type of questions all day because there are dozens of ways to promote a blog (or any website for that matter) but you've given us very little context around what you're actually doing, if anything...

If your approach is to just hammer content, which it seems to be, then I'd focus on learning keyword research and on page optimisation...

I suppose that your question requires an answer that is few hundred pages long. There are so many ways and strategies to get traffic, so many actions to be performed related to optimization, content, audience, social media or paid marketing.

  • I think instead of a lot of content post quality or informative content with proper keywords, rest indexing of pages also matters in search terms.

Deliver unique content to users, your blog posts will get attracted only when the title of your posts is catchy and the content has uniqueness.
Other than this, you have to perform link building strategy for your website. This attracts more visitors to your site. You can publish your guest posts on other sites. Also, keep a reminder that you should publish "no spammy" articles.
And for a few months, it will take time, as it gets hard for people to trust new sites but as it gets older, it automatically gets a response.

If you want to increase traffic on your website then you have to work on trending topics related to your niche. Also, create a clickable title so that visitors can attract by that and can come to your site to read the article.
