Hi, I have a question. Between:

1. The 10 Best Business in City
2. The Best 10 Business in City and

3. 10 Best Business in City

Are any of them incorrect, or I can choose any according to my preferences. And what is your preference.

Thank you.

  • You don't provide any context, such as who your intended audience is or what you're hoping to achieve, but if you mean "business" in terms of an individual enterprise, you'll need to use the plural form - "businesses".

However, maybe you should consider being more specific with the business. For instance, "The 10 Best Locksmiths in the City" sounds more targeted, but again, this depends on what you're looking to do.
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • because we are speaking of 10 of something the subject of the sentence should be plural. In this case the subject is "Business" so plural for business would be either Businesses or Business'

    1. The 10 Best Businesses in City
    2. The Best 10 Businesses in City
    3. 10 Best Businesses in City

    #2 would be incorrect.

    I prefer #1 over #3

    Hope that Helps!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • The only incorrect thing that stands out to me is that Business should probably be 'Businesses' instead. Plural.

I prefer number1. Just make business plural.

  • I don't mean to go off the question because I don't agree with any of the 3. Try " The 10 Best Businesses in Cities" I could not figure out if you meant city as an actual city or city in general. If you meant to replace city with an actual city then I would do " The 10 Best Businesses in City (Whatever the city may be)
