I got a message from a potential buyer

So I posted a paid ad in the classifieds a while back, and now someone sent me a message inquiring about it. But I can't reply to him.

The error says it might be because I don't have 5 messages yet.

If I post 5 messages can I use the service I paid for??

    You posted an ad in AUGUST - and have not posted anything else. Yes, you need 5 posts to use Private Message.

    HOWEVER, the person who contacted you can contact you by posting in the sales ad...and you can answer in that ad, too.

    You paid for an ad thread - and you can USE that thread to make additional posts about your offer....or post responses to interested parties who post in your thread.


    You can also edit your ad to include contact info such as an email address or skype name.

    Since they PMd me, all I can do now is make 5 posts, so I can get in touch with them. Seems kinda excessive to make a few useless posts just to get in touch with the buyer. Maybe something can be done about this in the future for those who buy ads yet don't have 5 posts. Just a thought.

    Your 'previous posts' were duplicates of one another, duplicates of your ad thread and every post so far has been about 'my ad and what I want'.


    Ordinarily someone posting just for post count would be banned but I'm letting this one go so you can answer the PM - which is from someone who KNOWS they can answer in your thread.
