I need everyone's 2 cents on which niche is more lucrative to start a membership site on, is it health and wellness or small business and marketing or would it be just better to blog and sell your own or affiliate products at this day and age?

Please do not 'release balloons' for celebrations. The balloons and trailing ribbons entangle birds and kill wildlife and livestock that think the balloons are food.

You can't expect serious answers when you ask such an ambiguous question. It's like asking what's more lucrative - writing a book or composing a song?

What do you bring to the party? What are your talents, your experience, your contacts, your budget, your time, your resources - your expectations?

I was thinking on the lines of doing affiliate marketing, setting up a blog writing content relevant to the niche and getting traffic, I was wondering if a membership site would be a better option or just trying to put an affiliate link on my content or I could do email marketing, my particular question was directed to someone who has done both and could give his personal judgement, cheers.

There are success and failure stories in all of those methods. It won't be the method that determines the outcome. What value can you bring to the market? Is it enough to get and keep subscribers? Enough to charge for it? Enough to build authority and credibility in your topic?

Whatever the method, you'll still have to attract prospects. What's your plan for doing that?

What would a 'membership site' be about? Do you have a niche - a blog - a plan for building an email list?

Sorry for the snarky reply above - but if you seriously want help and advice, you have to put some effort into asking for it.

I was planning to create quality content and put it on my blog and target only one social media to attract visitors and than try to convince them to buy my product.

Even if I joined in the 1800's it doesn't give you the right to reply in that manner to me, do it to one of your buddies...now if you want more insight before you can answer my question than just ask that you did this, that and this before you can answer...you talk nicely I will reciprocate in the same manner, your purpose is to help out of your goodwill, I will thank you for that but don't try to pull that stunt with me because you don't know me that well

Google sends all it's traffic directly to websites mainly bloggs and or Amazon first .

You can build a community and drive traffic using blogging as a tool .After you have build up a audience you can direct them to a membership site easier .

I wouldn't be able to tell you which niche is more lucrative but I would ask what are you knowledgeable of .From there you can choose a niche .

Last but not least . Don't think that a "more lucrative niche"means you will increase the likelihood of making sales .
